Although Russia’s foreign minister denied Tuesday that NSA leaker Edward Snowden had ever entered the country, Sen. John McCain said the unfolding drama is “reminiscent of the days of the Cold War.”
“You hear a Russian spokesman saying he’s not in Russia and that every shred of evidence indicates that he is,” the Arizona Republican said. “Look, we’ve got to start dealing with Vladimir Putin in a realistic fashion for what he is. He’s an old KGBColonel Apparatchik that dreams of the days of the Russian Empire, and he continues to stick his thumb in our eye in a broad variety of ways.

Didn’t he hear Secretary Kerry plead for calm?
Hes an old KGBColonel Apparatchik that dreams of the days of the Russian Empire.............................................. I’m an old Army Colonel that dreams of the days of the American Republic.,
McCain should just go kick Putin’s ass.
We can't say the same for a damn traitor who just sold his country out to Mexico.
I just found it hard to believe that McCain was available to the media (extreme sarcasm)
There’s NOTHING McCain says that holds any interest... he’s shown his colors..
Shut up McCain. You are nothing but an old turncoat who needs to go home and sit in your rocking chair. All you do is stir up trouble. Frankly I find myself siding with the Russians more every day.
That’s telling ‘em, John. </sarcasm>
US relations with the Russian Empire were cordial, Russians helped us during the War of Independence...
Despite being geographically removed from the American colonies, Russia under Catherine the Great significantly affected the American Revolution through trade and diplomacy. While Catherine personally oversaw most of Russias interactions with the American colonies, Britain and the other nations directly or indirectly involved in the Revolutionary War, she also entrusted certain tasks to her foreign advisor Nikita Panin, who often acted on Catherines behalf when it came to matters of international diplomacy. Catherine and Panin interacted with the British government through James Harris, an Earl at the Russian court. The decisions made by Catherine and Panin during the Revolution to continue trade with the colonies, remain officially neutral, refuse Britains requests for military assistance, and insist on peace talks that linked a resolution of the American Revolution with the settlement of separate European conflicts indirectly helped the Americans win the Revolution and gain their freedom.
McCain is an old Keating Five alum.
Juan McCain the great candidate for President of the USA nominated by the dying Republican Party. Romney the great and next Jeb Bush the great, see any problems here?
>> “...[Putin] continues to stick his thumb in [America’s] eye in a broad variety of ways...”
Yeah, and that’s YOUR job, not his, right Johnny boy?
EVERYONE should just turn their backs on him, and send as much money as you can to the Recall McCain campaign.
Don’t forget Bob Dole. He earned a spot among the designated losers (one more and they could become the Washington Generals basketball team).
Calla te Juan. !Cabron!
John McCain is not President, a rather immature and full-blown narcissist is in that job. A person that Putin cannot bring himself to respect in any way. By failing to make that distinction available to the voting public in 2008, Senile, er, Senator McCain has largely lost his authority to criticize the head of another nation, if he cannot recognize the failings of the titular head of his own country.
In calling for Obama to fail in office, it was intended that what was supposed to fail was the AGENDA espoused by the Current Regime, not the nation once known as “the United States of America”. Unfortunately, we all got sucked into that vortex, and there is little hope for relief before The Won exits from office.
Mclame is worried Snowden might damage Barry
John McLame upset over Russian lies?
Who knew that hearing a politician tell a lie bothered him?
Wouldn’t it be a treat to see McLame get this upset over the constant barrage of in-your-face lies from Obama, Holder and other administration officials?
You just can’t make this stuff up.
Our government shouldn’t be talking about any others right now. It may need to take a look in the mirror. McLame is an idiot.
I find myself admiring Putin every day. At least I know whose side he is on and he loves his country.
McCain is today’s KGB.
Putin may be an old school Russian thug but I’ll be he isn’t owned by Soros like you, McLapdog.
Putin didn't AID AND ABET the LARGEST FOREIGN INVASION IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD (mexican illegals), YOU DID !
Yes, Putin is an old school KGB marxist thug.
....And right now we Americans have MORE RESPECT FOR HIM THAN YOU !!
UNDERSTAND YOUR PLACE MCCAIN/RINOS/OBAMA !!
Hes an old RINO that dreams of the days of the ignorant voters, and he continues to stick his thumb in our eye in a broad variety of ways.
Cindy is just glad that old goat is getting attention from Obama’s media slaves, so he’s not around much.
Isn’t it time for this old fool, McRAT, to retire?
Given McCain’s record of losing planes, it would be funny if Putin responded in kind.
LOL...I was just about to say that McCain was responsible for downing more US aircraft during the cold war than Putin ever dreamed of.
Apparently, it’s not the season for McCain to play golf in Pakistan again.
McSane, isn’t. However he is USA aparatchik of the worst kind.
Sure John, that coming from someone who probably voted for Obama in 2012. Term Limits, We need Term Limits, badly.
The issue here is the US spying on its own people. That was what the Soviet Union did during the Cold War. So there is one big difference this time McCain. The Russians are the good guys and DC is the bad guys.
“Frankly I find myself siding with the Russians more every day.”
Same here. It’s very disturbing that a series of US administrations, beginning with Clinton’s, have failed to see the common interest we have with Russia in the war on terror.
What a fool McCain is. Cutting the US down to size is what Obama promised, and Putin is treating our government exactly that way.
We are surrounded by political dwarves, and they aren’t funny.
Shouldn’t that make Putin sympathetic to the idea of spying on people and locking them up?
