Obama declares a War on Coal

So much for the denials. An administration that throughout its 2012 election campaign denied it was waging a War on Coal has now come out and publicly declared its intention to shut down coal-fired power plants – putting hundreds of thousands of Americans out of work and sending electricity prices skyrocketing.

This is not what the American people voted for.

Responding to a White House petition to end the War on Coal, the administration said: “The President has made clear that he understands that coal has played a critical role in our country’s energy portfolio for decades and will continue to be an important source of energy in the future.”

Sycophantic liberal media outlets (like The Nation and the Associated Press) went further, repeatedly claiming that the War on Coal was a myth. The Obama campaign even ran a TV ad in Ohio claiming that Mitt Romney would be bad for coal – and trotted out former Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland to deny there was a war on coal and echo the attacks on Romney.

Bottom line:
"A Heritage Foundation analysis found that implementing Obama’s proposed regulation on existing coal plants would destroy more than 500,000 jobs, slash the income of a typical family of four more than $1,400 a year, and increase electricity prices at least 20 percent."

Obama declared war on coal before he was ever elected. This isn’t news.

Yes they did vote for this. He said it very clearly before the 2008 election.

War on “energy usage by unapproved persons”.

"This is not what the American people voted for."

Knowing what we know now about the shut down of the Tea Party by the IRS, the DOJ gathering intelligence on conservative media by eavesdropping on Fox News, Holder suing Voter ID states, and various cover-ups of other events by team 0bama, the American people were denied a free and fair election.

Zero is using the words “carbon pollution” for carbon dioxide...all while he speaks in his rolled up shirt sleeves and wipes his brow with his little hanky.

What a load of bull****.

Next up: A program to pay the utility bills of the lower and middle classes (now one and same), by taxing whoever is left.

What a load of bull****.

The modern term, in case you're interested, twister881, is "bull obama," or "bullobama" if you're partial to WordGlue™.

By inviting millions of undocumented immigrants to stay here, Obama’s enlarging our carbon footprint.

Of course you nailed it. Utility prices will necessarily skyrocket so of course they will most certainly be an expansion of the the national program to pay for the energy costs for those who swear allegiance to Obama and Democrats and pledge their vote to them henceforth and forever more.

Yep, as I said, only those “approved” people will be able to use energy, paid for by the “unapproved”.

Is he taking his war to China? India? Brazil? any of the fastest developing nations, which are co incidentally the largest and dirtiest players?
For them it is simple economics, and for us too.

All he wants to do is insure America is not competitive.
By removing America from trade, he is jeopardizing the world.

That is the stuff global wars are made of.
