McCain slams Putin on Snowden- "he continues to stick his thumb in our eye"

Sen. John McCain weighed in on the Edward Snowden saga on Tuesday, saying that Russia's actions in the wake of the accused National Security Agency leaker's reported arrival in Moscow harkens back to the Cold War.

"It's reminiscent of the days of the Cold War, when you hear a Russian spokesman saying that [Snowden’s] not in Russia when every shred of evidence indicates that he is,” McCain said on CNN. “We've got to start dealing with Vladimir Putin in a realistic fashion for what he is. He’s an old KGB colonel apparatchik that dreams of the days of the Russian empire, and he continues to stick his thumb in our eye in a broad variety of ways. Most importantly to me, of course, and should be to the world, is their continued support of [Syrian President] Bashar al Assad and the massacre taking place in Syria."

"Putin always seems almost eager to stick a finger in the eye of the United States—whether it is Syria, Iran and now of course with Snowden," New York Sen. Charles Schumer said on CNN's "State of the Union." "Allies are supposed to treat each other in decent ways."

I firmly believe that Snowden is being sought of trumped up charges by the NSAKGB. What is his pig crime? Exposing the NSA for illegally and unconstitutionally data mining information from hundreds of millions of citizens?

I like Snowden exposing NSA spying-collecting on everyone in America but when you land in China or Russia and you have a treasure trove of NSA secrets those secretes and data he had on 4 laptops will be seized and duplicated>>>>>>

Which has to have happened unless the info was ultra encrypted and Russia + China did not force him to give the encryption key. Snowden is pretty clever guy and may have had some way to finesse this

Might Russia be the next country McCain wants us to invade?

Gee Sen. McCane do you think that Obama’s feckless foreign policy and weakening of the United States has anything to do with Russia being so belligerent?

NSA loves to collect and hold all the communications, financial information, secrets of everyone living in America. See how NSA squeals when their secrets are exposed. When the tables are turned. NSA is  a typical Federal Gov't jobs program and bureaucratic empire. The NSA could concentrate on America's real enemies for 10% the cost and 10% the number of Federal drones working there

McCain, Schumer, and Hussein can cry all they want, but Putin doesn’t give a s-—. He is the strong one and they are afraid of him, so they jump up and down and cry.

I am rooting for Snowden. I have more in common with him than anyone in Washington D.C. Any potential damage to our country by his hands will be far less than the damage already inflicted upon us by Obama and the US Senate.

Alienated more and more very day.

McCain is the Madonna of the Senate. Both are in serious denial that the world has passed them by.

Snowden wants to return home to America, but he has embarrassed powerful Democratic and Republican politicians, a life-threatening situation. And so, in my opinion, he's moving from pillar to post, attempting to survive until his countrymen realize what he has done for them. Although every news outlet I see or hear is pushing the idea that he is giving American defense secrets to our enemies, it looks to me like he's just treading water until he's vindicated.

Still think we have nothing to fear from an Obastard presidency, Senator?

My guess?

Putin has always despised Obama, because he sees Obama as a traitor to his own country.

I’m kinda thinking that, too. Strong people always dislike cheats, thieves, liars and incompetents.

Shut up Johnny. You did a lot to make sure he could stick a thumb in our eye. America is now the world’s biggest paper tiger thanks to you and your buddy, Barry.

I think that cancer McCain supposedly had on his face and got rid of really didn't go away. It has metastasized to his pea brain

McCain HAD to know that NSA has been spying on us for years. McCain is the traitor. Frankly, I don't think we're much worse off with the Marxist Obama than we would have been with the narcissist idiot McCain.
