"America changes immigrants,"

Yes, but slowly. Which is why immigration (legal or illegal) needs to advance at a slower pace.

It IS true that "hispanics" whose families have been here for over 50 years are far more likely to vote Republican than recent arrivals......in fact, I wish someone would do a survey, I'd bet money that it's over 50%

Let me tell you a little anecdote about that. I have some ethnically Mexican family by marriage. The first generation people who remain are patriotic Americans with traditional values. The second generation is a little Kooky Kalifornian with a few standouts who served this nation and are basically Reaganites raising their families right. The third generation is generally a disaster, with several on welfare, most of the girls having been bred by multiple illegal aliens, and all are off the charts leftists. Every goddamned one! Now maybe things would have been different had the family left California, but the end result is that the first generation is pro-America, socially and mostly fiscally conservative, not even remotely anti-Caucasian, and generally speak perfect English with no accent. The third generation is, as I said, a disaster. The impact of the illegal alien invasion has caused those people (and their communities) to regress toward the Turd World mean. I bet you are generally right, outside of areas heavily infested with illegal aliens.
