Today, June 26th, is DAY #13 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. An explosive second day of deconstructed witness testimony took place yesterday. Which leads to the “big question”:
Will witness #8, Rachel Jeantel, be called to the stand today?
[Yesterday could] … only be characterized as an utter debacle for the prosecution in Florida v. Zimmerman. Besides the testimony of a couple of highly professional law enforcement witnesses, the testimony of the the other State witnesses ranged from signing George Zimmerman’s praises, to acknowledging the utility of following a suspicious person from a distance, to being utterly discredited by razor sharp cross-examination of the defense.
Before we even get to the disaster that was the State’s witnesses, however, we first have to discuss this morning’s hearing and the extent to which it evanescent is the State’s case against George Zimmerman. State: Zimmerman Is So Good, He Must Be Bad ............

Well.... in all fairness, they have to go with what they got.
If they are smart, they will drop Witness #8. She could lose the case for them single-handedly.
Maybe the Prosecution could get JAY CARNEY to ‘stand-in’ for Witness #8.
How do you know who witness #8 is? So, the judge just ruled that all of Zimmermans phone calls can be played? Who was the juror that was released? Is it just for today or for good?
Juror B72 dismissed for reasons not related to the case. He was an alternate juror.
Shouldn’t the defense already know who witness #8 is through discovery?
I am admittedly not on top of how these things work, since I haven’t been in a trial situation other than traffic court years ago.

Horrible witness. She’s clearly been coached (”it was the boys voice”) and she heard three shots.
This is gonna be good...
What the hell? The “recreation therapist” claims there were three pops/shots??? There has been NO evidence of such. All reports, including autopsy report, have shown one bullet wound only.
Wow! Looks like more ‘creative testifying’ on the part of the Trayvies.
She has accidentally said “two men” or “men’s voices” a few times and quickly corrected herself. She has been thoroughly prepped to be sure the jurors think the man’s voice was Zimmerman’s. I’d bet Trayvon’s voice was pretty scary when he was mad or attacking someone...a lot scarier and manlier than Zimmerman’s.
