Shes back. That would be former Alaskan half-term governor and former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, of course.
She is back on Fox News. Evidently the folks over at Fox didnt think they were fair and balanced enough toward the Republican side of the aisle.
Of course, not all Republicans are happy with Palins return. Gearing up for the 2014 congressional races and the 2016 presidential race, the last thing moderate Republicans want is to remind everyone why they didnt vote for the Republican ticket in 2008. With the exception of folks in red states or congressional districts, Palin doesnt do Republicans any favors, especially with independent voters.
Former Florida full-term Gov. Jeb Bush, for example, cant be happy. During Palins first appearance back on Foxs morning show, Fox and Friends, Palin took Bush to task for his support of immigration reform. Bush, the smart son in the family, understands that without an effort to bring Hispanics into the Republican Party, especially in places like his home state of Florida, the White House becomes an increasingly difficult goal for Republican candidates.
This, however, is of no concern for Palin. She will be paid more than $1 million per year from Fox News to play her traditional role as the far-right Alaskan mama bear. Palin will collect her salary regardless of who sits in the White House and, after all, it is all about her.
A return to television also gives Palin the opportunity to spread the news about her books so she can make millions more without holding a real job. Im writing a book about Christmas and pushing back on the politically correct who have tried to take Christ out of Christmas ... at the same time a very festive and happy and jolly book about tradition and recipes and fun things about Christmas, stated Palin to her friends on Fox during her very first appearance.
Indeed, nothing brings Christ back into Christmas more than Sarah Palin getting rich on a book about how Christ has been taken out of Christmas. I hope all of Foxs corporate sponsors, who make billions replacing the baby in the manger with the old man on the sled, were paying attention.
Im just guessing, but I suppose that her next book will be about how liberals invented the Easter Bunny in order to take Christ out of Easter. Actually, Palin could write a book about how she gets out of bed in the morning and her tea party followers would pay to read it. The lady is a cash machine.
Speaking of not-so-bright politicians, Republicans in the state to our north, Pennsylvania, are slashing state funding for public education to the bone. They are doing the same thing in North Carolina. I guess their strategy to win elections in the future is to keep the voting public uneducated. This way, it is much easier to convince people that women cant get pregnant when raped, that global warming is a hoax and that evolution is a theory on par with creationism.
Seriously, ever wonder why when Republicans take over a county, city or state, the first thing they cut is public education for our children?
Palin, of course, did go to college. Actually, she attended five colleges in six years before graduating from the University of Idaho with a degree in journalism. While some may think that she has a problem finishing anything she starts, I call her persistent. Perhaps that is why she is back on Fox News. After dropping out five months ago, she is back to finish what she started. Maybe she is setting the stage for a run for the White House in 2016. Actually, Im dreaming of a presidential race between Palin and former Senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Now that would bring some fun back into politics.
Sounds a bit like some of our persistant snarky PDS Freepers.
Just a bit.
Never heard of it........perhaps that is why no-names like to attempt to associate themselves with her (like parasites), it's usually free publicity.
First sentence reads identical to the piece yesterday by the libtard RINO Frum acolyte journalist.
What is the name of the new Journolist site that the presstitutes are getting their daily talking points from?
“would be former Alaskan half-term governor”
Not even sure I know what that is supposed to mean.
for those who missed it
Sarah Palin’s mind-bogglingly incoherent immigration reform critique
“Perhaps we should no longer be surprised when the former half-term Alaska governor jabs at GOP colleagues weighs in on public policy. And yet...”
“Shes back. That would be former Alaskan half-term governor and former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, of course.”
It’s the latest liberal meme.
I like to see she gets under their skin as this article makes it most obvious. Wonder how much the author is getting writing about SARAH? After all, Tom Zirpoli doesn’t even have to get it right. Poor little pissant!
Voters can compare and contrast Palin's multcollege degree and her future political successes that were achieved on her own vs the fact that Hillary couldn't make it on her own because she failed her DC law boards so she had to gain her future political successes on the back of her philandering husband
Somebody's testosterone shot is overdue. Would Monsieur care for a saucer of milk?
They’re scared of Palin. GOOD!!
Speaking of comments...the comment option on the article itself has already been disabled.
I saw that. Cowards.
Typical Leftist bitter nonsense.
We can send him a quarter - after all, it’s all about him/the have nots. Every hit piece and/or post from the PDS crowd is about her making money, So in the future, I’ll assume all PDS posts are from welfare recipients and downtrodden besides being fugly.
Looks like the were getting hammered so bad they had to disable the comment section. Sorry tommy boy, Sarah is more of a man than you’ll ever be(and a lot better lookin too). Foxhole choices. Sarah, yes. Tommy boy, not so much. Bet you couldn’t survive a day in the wild.
I don’t care about the dismissive tone of the article, I’m just curious what brought her back to Fox. The break seemed pretty acrimonious when it happened. Did they make overtures to her and ask her to come back? Did she contact them and offer to come back for less money?
She is very bright. Her comments on current issues are generally spot-on IMO.
She is too trusting and loyal to a fault. That is why she let her career be mortally wounded by McCain and his handlers. In hindsight I almost think they decided “well, we ain’t beating this Obama guy, so next best thing is to destroy the next up-and-coming threat to us RINOS.”
After the savage beating her family took from the press jackals, I think she has lost any taste for serving in public office again.
Boring, by-the-numbers, standard Dem talking points.
