God willing, sanity will someday return to America. Probably not until America stops turning its back on God though.

Although I would point out that FR permits a broader - significantly broader - range of thought, opinion and ideology than places like DU and KOS do - where very small deviations from the permitted "norm" are crushed with extreme prejudice.

In my opinion, FR and Freepers are all the better for that wider breadth.

Jimbo, Not a religious guy here. Not a Christian. But, this country was founded on the Christian principles of individualism and an individual's responsibility toward himself, his family, his community and his country.

I have to throw my lot in with someone, and I know who those "someones" will be.

Its a well known fact that statists despise people like me. I ruin their myth that its only the "religious right" who oppose them.

BTW, I really do think that statists are the descendants of Nimrod, Satan's own son, who are still desperately trying to rebuild the the Tower of Babel, which God himself destroyed.

I worry about that all the time. Both of my daughters have serious meical conditions: epilepsy and dystonia (similar to parkinson’s). They are only 16, and I really worry about them if they can’t get medications they need.

I’m just so surprised by how fast our nation has spiralled downward.
