On the third day of testimony in the George Zimmerman murder trial, the prosecution called what could be the most pivotal witness of all: Rachel Jeantel, the friend who was on the phone with 17 year-old Trayvon Martin until moments before Zimmerman shot and killed him. In the early part of her testimony, Jeantel described her conversation with Trayvon, in which he notices a man looking at him, a man Jeantel says Martin described as a “creepy, white, kill-my-neighbors cracker,” and a “creepy-ass cracker,” to which she joked that he “might be a rapist.”
The credibility of Jeantel’s testimony is crucial, because it establishes George Zimmerman as the aggressor, and contradicts the defense’s contention that Mr. Zimmerman did not pursue Trayvon Martin after the police dispatcher instructed him that they didn’t need him to do that. The phone call also represents a two-minute overlap between the time Zimmerman hung up woth the dispatcher, and when he made contact with Trayvon Martin.
The prosecution asked Rachel Jeantel what Trayvon Martin was complaining to her about on the phone, as he walked home.
“That a man just kept watching him,” she replied.
After the judge overruled a defense objection, the prosecutor continued, “Did you say anything back to him or did he say anything back to you?”
“Yes,” Jeantel replied. “I asked him how the man looked like. He just told me the man — the man looked creepy.”(continued)

Indeed. Trayvon also referred to George as the “n***** behind me” although this article doesn’t mention that.

She is a gold mine for the defense. The more she talks, the worse the prosecutor looks.
Of course I expect some argument from the prosecution that one cannot usually find witnesses to crime in a church pew but he has little chance of redeeming her testimony after this disgrace. I wonder if he will even rebut the defense which would open her up to further questions by West further sinking this sham into the pits of malpractice.
The entire media has disregarded the two time mention of “nigga”. Fox bleeped it out and defined the unknown bleep as just a slang term. So there you go, all Paula Deen needed to say was that she had at some point in time used a slang word. We are getting dumber every day as this nation is obsessed with race.

Yep. Fox never even mentioned the “n” word tonight in their segment of analyzing the trial. Makes me realize I need to watch things live and tape them to ensure I get thr truth.

People, I’m all about the facts. I have not prejudged Zimmerman and concluded him to be a murder nor have I annointed him as a victim of the racial mob led by Jessee Jackson.
The facts go where they go with me.
It is obviously clear that at some point Trayvon started beating on Zimmerman. The only crucial question in this trial, the question that answers everything is: Was Trayvon justified in beating on Zimmerman? If the answer is, “Yes,” then Zimmerman is indeed guilty of homicide. If the answer is “No,” then Zimmerman was simply defending his life with deadly violence...justifiable homicide.
I have heard nothing definitive to answer this critical question as of yet....and either have any of you.
Let’s all take a deep breath and deal with the facts as they emerge. Accounts in the media are not facts!!!!
Let’s not be like the global warming crowd and jump to some preordained conclusion.
