Several companies have already terminated or suspended business relationships with Paula Deen in the controversy over her use of racial slurs, yet sales of the celebrity chef’s upcoming cookbook have skyrocketed.
Dean’s latest book, “Paula Deen’s New Testament: 250 Favorite Recipes, All Lightened Up,” has jumped all the way to No. 1 on Amazon’s best-seller’s list and No. 7 on the Barnes & Noble Top 100 in advance of its scheduled release. The book, published by Random House, is still scheduled to be released on Oct. 15, according to Random House spokesman Stuart Applebaum.

Because she’s a white person who is being railroaded by the PC Gestapo. Every other race and ethnic group in America is permitted to have some solidarity and pride. Its about time that we started doing the same.
So because she's for obama I'm not supposed to support her? What kind of thinking is that? If someone is dying on the street am I supposed to ask them who they voted for before I help them? I don't care if she's a terrible business woman, my support for her has nothing to do with how she runs her business. I support her because I'm sick of people being ridiculed, fired, put out of business for saying a word, a word that has no power except when blacks are offended, the same blacks who use said word hourly and the same blacks who find nothing offensive about saying "crazy ass cracker". Personally, I've been called worse - wop - guinea - greaseball and I don't care because I have a spine.
As for pornography at work, it's her place of business, if an employee doesn't like it they can work somewhere else. No one forced the employee to watch. The employee was not dragged into a room, tied to a chair and forced to watch. This is like the people who are offended by an angel on a Christmas tree, no one is forcing them to look at it. I worked at a place where alcohol was served after hours in the conference room. No one was forcing me or anyone else to look at it or engage in drinking it, did I sue? No, I chose to leave when my shift was over. People need to grow a spine.
Two of my best buds in high school were a Hispanic kid named Richardo and a Jewish kid named Michael.
We called each other "Rick the Spic", "Mike the Kike" and I was "Roy the Redskin."
Good. A little financial reward will go a long way toward compensating for the treatment she has gotten.

I don't think FReepers are supporting her as much as they are happy to see the left lose in their attempt to destroy her. And their selective outrage bothers me. Alec Baldwin recently called a black reporter a coon. Rep. Ryan Winkler just yesterday tweeted that Justice Clarance Thomas is an Uncle Thomas. There are many instances of the left getting away with overt racism yet Paula Deen is being crucified because she admitted to saying something decades ago. I didn't care for Deen before I knew she was an Obama supporter. I don't support her now, I just want her to defeat the racist left who are condemning her.

There is so much more to this Paula Deen story than people know. She is an awful person.
Sorry, she should reap what she sowed. I don't have any sympathy for. She wants to take my freedom and money away and reserve some kind of special status for herself. I hope she goes bankrupt, she can get a taste of her own medicine.
