Oh,sorry...I misunderstood what you were replying to.When he said that he had just finished stating that the chunky gal had been a plus for the state and had,in his opinion,done a good amount of damage to Zimmerman.I assume that his statement that Zimmerman "must" testify meant that the only one who could reverse that damage was the defendant himself.

I've been watching this little drama on some channel (HLN) that is obviously rooting for the prosecution. After watching Rachel's awkward dissembling, the talking heads started to toss around comments like "I think she gained a lot of credibility this afternoon", and other stupid comments, such as my favorite "We got to know Rachel today, and she seems very genuine".

IMHO, the way it ended was priceless. After several minutes of discussion about the fact that Trayvon called Zimmerman by a racial epithet, and how black people in her neighborhood call white people "cracker" all the time, she was asked if Trayvon called white people "crackers". After a couple of minutes of silence, she said "I don't remember".

Why the sarcasm?Maybe the politicians and the elites need to know that there is only so far that the "white" people can be pushed. Maybe they need to fear that WE can take to the streets, too. After all, the original Boston Massacre in 1770 was a riot against occupying British troops, and the original Tea Parties were direct action tax resistance. (Here in Maryland, the Tea Party did not just dump the tea, they forced the owner of the Peggy Stewart to burn his own ship.)
