My Mom passed away in 1959, raised three kids by herself...
I was eleven.
About the last year of her life (I was older than my siblings), she would have me sit with her at night while she laid out all her fears for the future of the country........
Christians being persecuted, sin becoming acceptable, extreme taxes, and regulation, diminishing of the USA, total government of schools (she said when the government demands kids go to school at two, the end would be near).
There was more or course but I remember it all, she said strengthen your faith is God, be vigilant and protect your brother and sister.
She has been right about everything.
