PHILADELPHIA (AP) Hillary Rodham Clinton, whose lifelong public service career includes turns as secretary of state, presidential candidate, senator and first lady, is the recipient of the 2013 Liberty Medal.
Clinton will receive the medal in a Sept. 10 ceremony at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. She was not in attendance for Thursday's announcement.
Liberty Medal sponsors and partners said Clinton's nearly four decades of public service exemplify the qualities that the award was established to honor, from her groundbreaking outreach to global leaders to her continuing work to advance opportunities for the world's girls and women.
"The Liberty Medal recognizes individuals who have furthered the ideals of freedom, democracy, and equality, often against great odds," said Jeffrey Rosen, National Constitution Center president and CEO. "Hillary Clinton has devoted her life to expanding opportunities for 'We the People' not just in this country but around the globe." snip

The list of winners says it all, with only a couple of exceptions.
One day short of the one year anniversary of the Benghazi catastrophe
Just like the NOBEL prize....this “award” is now worthless except to the stasi elitists

She will come. She will see. And liberty will die.
Looks like a list of who’s who of the liberal, Marxist crowd, She fits right in.
Eh, what difference does it make?
Good one Bon Mots! Me likey.
Liberty medel for benghazi?
“When we got organized as a country and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans, it was assumed that the Americans who had that freedom would use it responsibly.... [However, now] there’s a lot of irresponsibility. And so a lot of people say there’s too much freedom. When personal freedom’s being abused, you have to move to limit it.” - Bill Clinton
No, not really. Just a quick quip.
It is laughable what she is being honored for though. It’s her nearly four decades of public service.
Yep, everything from working Watergate against Nixon, to her work for young girls and women, to being First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State, oh she’s quite the woman.
First of all, her husband and Obama are exponentially worse than Nixon. Then there’s her work for young and older women, silencing them after her husband beat and or raped them. And then there’s the jobs she never would have had if she hadn’t done so.
Hillary Clinton is one of the most corrupt women in all of history. If this were a two-bit nation, she would have had the power to kill large bodies of people. She may wind up doing so anyway.
Yep, give the broad an award. She so richly deserves it. Then cart her ass off to Leavenworth, where she belongs.
