The RCMP doing the dirty. Reports are that Prime Minister Stephen Harper is furious at the actions of the RCMP in wrongfullyand illegally confiscating firearms without warrants or any legal authority.
New Orleans cops did the same after Hurricane Katrina.

Gee. RCMP confiscating firearms without a shred of legal authority. How did they know where they were? Could it be that they were
registered?!
Enquiring minds want to know.

As an ex-canuck, the province of AB is as close as you can get to being Texas. Not only is it conservative and choc full of oil, but the home of separatist movement in canada. However, the national police called The RCMP or Mounties’ never liked the idea of firearms being freely owned by citizens.

So what did they do when faced with a serious gun safe? I want to know the details on this. Serious torch / cutting wheel action, permanently damaging the citizens’ secure storage?
The whole thing appears despicable. So something Obama would likely try, if he thought he could get away with it.

Last time I checked if you were a firearms owner in Canada they do not require a warrant to search your premises .

Well Hell, they just went against the law, and as far as order, breaking into homes isn’t order.
Massive Fail.

Firearms may not be the only thing(s) they are looking for.
Don’t know how normal citizens are going to be able to evacuate lugging gun safe around .......

I believe the Alberta AG has control over what the RCMP does or does not do in Alberta so the pressure belongs there even more than on Harper.
Basically the provinces contract with the RCMP to do their rural policing - not all, but most do.
To: Candor7
A. Why would anyone evacuate w/o arms?
B. Govt just proving that someone could break in and steal arms.
