Sponsors of Californias same-sex marriage ban say a federal appeals court decision that clears the way for gay weddings to resume is disgraceful.
Anthony Pugno, general counsel for a coalition of religious conservative groups, called Fridays order from the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals an outrageous act by judges and politicians determined to overturn voter-approved Proposition 8.

A free vote of the people was overturned by a court because the losers didn’t like the result.
So basically nothing can be prohibited by law.
We all know the truth and what needs to be done. We just can’t talk about in online anymore.
The people of CA twice, once via reps, and once via constitutional amendment, merely defined marriage for what all civilizations have recognized.
For all practical purposes Scotus and the Ninth Circus repealed the tenets of the American Revolution. As Mark Levin recently said, “this cannot go on.”

From the Be Careful What You Ask For department, all the gays and lesbians who presently are dancing in the streets will soon get to experience the dreaded D word along with the dreaded A word. That’s right dancers, once you can legally be married, you can then get to experience the joys of a legal divorce and having to make legal property settlements and alimony payments. You will get to enjoy the “benefits” of a legal marriage “enjoyed” by us straight folks for all of these years. I suspect the level of divorce among gays and lesbians will be a good bit higher than among strait folks.

The only way they can challenge it now is to elect a Republican governor willing to appeal.
