In an emotional interview with Anderson Cooper, Trayvon Martin‘s stepmother, Alicia Stanley, opened up about her inconsolable grief at the loss of a boy she helped to raise for 14 years, Zimmerman’s guilt, Trayvon’s character and being ignored by Trayvon’s father, Tracy Martin.
Her voice shaking with pain and tears in her eyes, Stanley explained that she had helped raise Trayvon since he was 3-years-old, and that he was at her home with his father and her daughters “90 percent” of the time.
“Trayvon was a kind person, a loving person,” Stanley told Cooper. “He loved children, babies. You know before this happened, I really believed he would have been working with children; he adored children. He’s not what the media make him out to be…this thug.”
Stanley said that when the media started coming around, Tracy Martin stopped communicating with her and she didn’t understand why.
“He would just he was busy.”
Rachel Jeantel, 19, the last person to speak to Trayvon before Zimmerman killed him, testified that he referred to Zimmerman as a ‘creepy-ass cracker,” but Stanley is skeptical.
“We didn’t teach that kind of language in our home.”(continued)

Trayvon was a thug-in-training. An apprentice, as it were, but very willing to learn.
Isn’t it curious? In all the coverage of this trial, so far, not one mention of Trayvon’s drug use.

The way I look at it the family and Crump are doing damage control after the Creepy A@@ Cracker comment. They don’t want the cracker jurors to take offense and let Zimmerman walk so they are trying to back pedal and take the racism out of it after they put it in from the start. It is too late for them to do that.

Did you read what this step mom was saying after the incident?
She claims her and the dad only separated 2 weeks before the incident. That the dad was a good dad and only trying to get justice for ‘their’ son.
I think she is full of it. At first I had some empathy, due to the years she was a parent to skittles, but after reading these earlier words, the woman has an agenda.

Yes, I understand why you would say that, but what would someone have to do to be a “creepy ass cracker” to Trayvon or his girlfriend? I suspect the qualification for being a creepy ass cracker is being white, or in Zimmerman’s case, being something other than black. I personally don’t think George was acting creepy, nor do I think he should be called a cracker. I do think now that creepy ass cracker has been introduced through this farce of justice, we should keep it front and center for social commentary.
No, that would be the HOA insurance company. Probably cheaper than defending the suit, opening the door to more $hakedown from the Sharpton/Jackson industry, and avoiding a boycott/bad publicity. Take your lumps and move on. Pass the loss on to your customers. I’m sure the HOA’s rates went up.

St Skittles, the thug, was protecting his turf at RATL. Since it was dark, and raining, he thought GZ was just another thug following him on his home turf. GZ was as just as a shadowy figure to him as he was to GZ.
