Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

If defense does a stark and thorough enough job of debunking it, it will go far in quelling some of the rabidity driving the calls for riots and murders of random whites upon acquittal.
I think they know they have a weak to zero case so what I believe they are doing is trying to reduce the impact of the defense witnesses by calling them as prosecution witnesses....kind of a 3 card monte play: “this is not what you think you’re hearing, they are prosecution witnesses and they bolster our case.
What truly galls me is this case is brought as a second degree...IMO, if they cannot prove that, he should be acquitted, no reduction to some kind of manslaughter or such just to appear non racist.
Iching, sorry about last nights thread pull; I was reading what you posted and was very interested in it. It’s disappointing that some here attack those that post things without looking at what it is or concern. It’s no wonder that posters at FR are at a fraction of where it used to be.
Somewhat hostile here at times and yet, it’s a fantastic site. I wish people would chill out.

Probably not exactly, he tried to (somewhat successfully) derail the careers of some of them over the Sherman Ware case in 2010, when he rallied the community against SPD officers and higher-ups on behalf of a homeless black man that had been badly beaten outside a Sanford bar by the son of an SPD supervisor, who was never arrested nor charged. Cruel irony, eh. Video of the beating is on YouTube. Zimmerman is NOT who the media has portrayed him to be. That’s why you never learned of the Sherman Ware case.
I do sense that the karma will come all the way back around and Z will be freed. This sham trial is blowing up in the rabid racists’ faces.

Dee Dee's...creepy-ass cracker...remark set the tone for that event. And her statements that it was just a fight blew me away.
IIRC, Tray had been to the apartment where he was staying many times. I'm inclined to think he knew who Zimmerman was and that's why he wasn't afraid to approach him. In fact, wouldn't be surprised if Tray was the impetus for one of Zimmerman's earlier calls to the "hot line".
That already backfired on them, it has been shown by Precious’ turn on the stand that it was Trayvon who racially profiled Zimmerman, not the other way around as the bogus charging affidavit claims.

Never happen. Martin could rise from the grave and declare that he deserved what he got and the same ones would still call for riots. This [racial discord] is their bread and butter and over the years they have made a good living from it. As a sidebar, self professed preachers such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharption who profain the Holy name of God on a weekly basis need to spend a lot of time in cold storage. When they get to where they are going to spend eternity, they can use the cold.

I was referring to the jury which depends on what the makeup of the pool is. I’ve been on jury duty where the defense lawyer looked over the pool and decided to plead. LOL. The jury GZ drew should be very favorable to him. Just the luck of the draw.
