SCOTLAND -- 80 birdwatchers got together in Scotland to get a glimpse of a White-throated Needletail: a rare bird that has not been seen in the United Kingdom for 22 years. The birders were there to watch the world's fastest flying bird, instead they witnessed it fly directly into a wind turbine where it was killed instantly.

According to Bird Guides' Josh Jones: "It was seen by birders fly straight into the turbine."

These wind turbines are a blight on the natural landscapes of countries around the world! It will only be a few more years after millions of these generators are assembled before the environmentalist wackos will be demanding they “do something” about the needless slaughtering of these innocent birds! Can you only imagine if a oil company was “killing” endangered birds? They would be demanding immediate compensation.

If you live near a wind farm, you can have an impact. Visit it with your camera, take photos of the dead birds and post them to facebook. Hit the “public” button.

Pictures are powerful...

No! You are missing the point!

You see Windmills are the Ideological triumph over Science, Common Sense, and Cost Effectiveness and like the Photo of Stalin and Sadam Hussien in every home they must litter our landscape to remind us of the grandeous decisions the "MasterMinds" made for us Serfs.

It is a false idol, a tower of babble to Progressivism, Obama, and Gore, and believing in something that doesn't work, like all the forms of Communism.

They must stand their and remind you, always, just like Stalin's picture....

It's almost count as comedy, if loudly self-proclaimed "environmentalists" weren't so tragically stupid.

Why are these massive wind farms not subject to the same environmental scrutiny as other large construction projects? How many dams, fossil fuel generating plants, refineries not to mention nuclear plants have been stymied for decades or stopped altogether because of some purported harm to one critter or another?

Good question. And why can the wind turbines kill eagles which are protected by law? Wind energy trumps birds? Let’s make a Hierarchy of Importances of liberal causes, so the laws can be rearranged according to standing on the chart.

It is not hypocracy so much as pure unadulterated idiocy.

The biggest killer of almost all forms of wildlife is hunger. To sustain the species in the face of an environment full of competing organisms and hungry predators breeding almost always outstrips the food supply needed were all to live out a normal lifepan.

Hungry creatures focus on food and miss dangers. They are more susceptible to disease. They get eaten when they should have fled a predator too close to a food source. And... they run into things. If you walk around your house every day you will find several dead birds each year thatflew Iinto it and died. You would find the same in a forest.

There was a time when this stuff was taught in second grade.

I worked on a project for a potash mine in New Mexico where the mine had to build a boathouse to house employees and jet skis. You see, the EPA or NMED (I don’t recall which set of fascists) had determined that some type of protected birds should not land in the mine’s “contaminated” water pits so they required the mine to pay people to sit in a boathouse and any time it appeared that birds were going land in the water they had to hop on the jet ski’s and ride out to scare the birds away. If a bird did hit the water it meant big fines for the mine.

I guess when you bust your butt to dig up a mineral that makes everyone’s life better through commercial use you are just asking for the Eco-fascists to mess with you. Build an ideollogically correct bird slaughter machine that occasionally produces useful electricity and the sun shines out your u-know-what.
