If you ever wonder why the weasel west media always calls Putin a dictator or demonizes him, just look at what has been happening recently. By watching the US news last week one would think all of America has turned gay with the Supreme Court ruling on married same-sex couples. The New York Times called it a, "major victories for the gay rights movement". Some even compare it to racial equality. If Putin was the dictator the West claims, the new law that defends Christianity would have been in effect immediately after the pussy riot blasphemy which happened last year. Recently President Putin signed a 'gay propaganda' ban and law criminalizing insult of religious feelings.
Oddly enough the West is the only place where some Christian leaders are gay. Their Christian churches omit certain biblical teachings against homosexuality. Yes, Russia's Christianity and anyone who defends it rain on the gay parade and their upside down world. In the past they demonized Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and ridiculed Christians in America as crazed right-wingers. They danced when President Reagan, Jerry Falwell and Charlton Heston died. There is no longer a real powerful conservative in the West the liberals fear.
In the East there is someone that causes the western liberal's maniacal laughter to stop. Vladimir Putin.

What exactly are the defining characteristics of homosexuality?
…what sort of Bizarro world am I living in?
US government threatened by Russia's Christianity
OMG¡¡¡¡¡
LOL
Sheer unqualified hubris and just so much BS.
Seriously.
I expect Mr. Mxyzptlk any day now.
You mean that,......you don’t know?
More fair and balanced news from Pravda than mainstream media in this nation.
It’s clear the Russians have little respect for Obama. I can certainly understand why. I don’t agree with him on everything but it’s clear that Putin is a much stronger leader than Obama. Obama isn’t a leader.
Well, food manufacturers like General Mills project virtue. So I’m confused.
Hmmm. Would exchanging Obama for Putin make us a greater nation? Probably.
Lovers of poop.
Okay, we all know Obama is gay, and Putin isn’t. Can’t we all just get along?
“There is a reason that most public schools in America do not teach the Bolshevik revolution and its true consequences. There are people in the West that want to remove everything related to Christ from “public view” just as the communists did during the Soviet enslavement of Russia. 20th century Russia is proof that Christianity can prevail against their darkness and confusion.”
I believe that Russian policy now is more genuine and less optics than at any time since the dissolution of the USSR.
On the other hand US government policy is, for all practical purposes nearly entirely optics. (Except DemoRat policy, they have managed to exceed 100% in optics.)
Additionally, while much of the old Russian media is still struggling to tone down the bombastic rhetoric, this Lerma guy is pretty doggone straight, he is no Pravda ringer or shill.
Long story short, it seems Russia and Putin are really about restoring Russian nationalism, empire, Christianity, and moral authority, and Communism ain't invited for the ride.
The Irony here is that Russia managed to successfully ship Communism here, to the US, and now they're pushing the remainder into the sea declaring "swim west young Marxist, swim west".
Debating whether or not to add Pravda to my news reel. They actually call Obama ‘Barry’ in some of their articles. haha
That's pretty much exactly the impression I get. The new emphasis on Orthodox Christianity has to be real, nobody expends that much effort on fiction.
Храм Христа Спасителя:
They do stage media events to promote and inspire Russians to follow nationalistic, Christian and moral policies and leaders, and said leaders do engage in showmanship, but they believe in the content of the show.
The American left, Public Servant Aristocracy, MSM, Hollywood, and entertainment industries, on the other hand, sell an optics con job entirely and do not believe in ANY of the policies they push only for power and control over the citizenry they shouldn't have power and control over.
The biggest problem we have with Russia is the lack of accurate communication between ordinary Americans and ordinary Russians. What you hear is not exactly what they said (this happens both ways). I won't even address the official government communications, that's pretty much hopeless.
Meanwhile, Georgia is threatened by Russia’s tanks.
Has the cross that was on Independence Hall in Philly replaced with a weathervane?
I've looked closely at some old and recent photos of the hall and I've tried hard to make out what is at the top of the new photos, but sometimes I just stop looking at stuff like that because it's too hard to imagine that our countrymen could go to that level to erase our roots.
Maybe I just don't want to know.
