A Cruz missile aimed straight at the heart of the beast. Go Cruz!
Why stop at just one of the UnConstitutional alphabet agencies of tyranny?
That would be a great deal to make with them.
We won’t prosecute the crimes... YOU shut your doors and go away.
Need to, won’t do, can’t do.
You can be sure that at the IRS there is a bolo for anything with Cruz in ti.
shut it down
I’m disposed to never want to deal with the IRS again.
By all means, close it.
Great idea, but it won’t happen with the current crop of scoundrels occupying the Hill.
A majority support the IRS because those who pay no or minimal income tax together with the “good government” types constitute a true majority.
> “After these revelations of political targeting by the IRS, we need to padlock and shut down the building, abolish the IRS, and move to a flat tax or the FAIR Tax.”
Senator Cruz, I don’t know if you said these exact words or the writer imagined the ‘flat tax’ part, but with all due respect:
A FLAT TAX NEVER STAYS FLAT!
Flat taxes in our American tax history (there have been several) always get amended to a complex intractable code. There have been more than 20,000 amendments to the tax code since the last major reform in 1986.
The FairTax is the way to go:
Cruz can get the nomination on this issue alone.
Either we do this now or we can live in slavery the rest of our lives. It’s our choice.
The real problem is we still have half the population that is stuck on retarded and stuck on government goodies.
Oh no! Not another wacko bird!
CRUZ MISSILE FOR PREZ!
I love the thought. Not going to happen, though.
Cruz really seems to be the man we need right now. I hope he stays the course.
He looks like Bill Murry in that photo...
“Haaaarmy Training SIR!”
IRS is a good start, but add the EPA, dept. of Education, BATFE, and just about every other agency that doesn’t directly contribute to our defense or law enforcement, and turn over most of everything left to the states.
Hey Cruz, get back to me when that windmill actually falls. The IRS will NEVER be abolished in this country. The scandal is over. The MSM has stopped covering it. Congress likes the IRS since it is the biggest wealth transfer system ever devised. Congress writes law(s) that benefits big business and then big business rewards them with contributions.
I’m all for abolishing the IRS but if implementing a flat tax or fair tax includes deductions or allowances, we will still be in the same boat as we are in now. I’d prefer a national sales tax, collected at the retail point of sale and no exceptions. That would keep the percentage lower and would not require reporting any incomes and eliminate most record keeping. Also, the 16th Amendment would have to be repealed.
