Team was going to give away two nice .22's, and a bolt action hunting rifle. I can see how that's a threat to national security.

I’m sure if they would’ve just flown a queer flag (ala the Seattle Mariners) the drivebys would have celebrated them.

“...raffle three weapons...”

Change it to raffle three Gift Certificates; hold the raffle.

In a way, I can see their point. If one of those weapons were to be used to kill someone, they would be partially responsible and partially liable for damages.

Sometimes lawyers do look out for the client...........

That’s not the place for anybody’s politics.

Is that the Buck Rodgers who used to catch for the Angels? He’s got to be in his 70’s.

I’ve got no problem with this like I’ve got no problem with the NFL staying out of Obamacare. I do NOT want politics of any kind in my sports. I don’t care if I agree or support said politics. No.

If I lived in AL, I would purchase my firearms from Larry’s Pistol and Pawn.

No, they wouldn't. No more than if you sold someone a car and they intentionally run someone down.

How to you equate that stance? Is an auto dealer responsible if one of the cars they sell kills someone? Is a pool dealer responsible if someone dies in said pool? Your outlook is exactly what's wrong with this country!

Back in the late 80s, they had a massive retirement of personnel at Hughes Aircraft Company. The retiree could receive a gift worth two hundred dollars. Most retirees chose some sort of crystal object or a watch. One retiree insisted on a shotgun and got it. Immediately after that, one of the not-very-well-respected division managers made the same sort of comment about Hughes being tied to a murder and the shotgun option was dropped.

Isn’t Huntsville a hive of relocated marxists from the northeast? If we need border security anywhere; it should be between the northeast and the southern United States...they really are two different countries.

So they back down and PC-liberalism wins another round.

Inch by inch. Step by step.

So, if your car was used in a bank robbery or in an accident, is the car dealer partly liable?
