Sarah Palin Is The New Conscience of the Republican Party
Washington Times ^ | July 2, 2013

Posted on 07/02/2013 11:16:14 AM PDT by drewh

Palin posted on Facebook a status update that “Folks like me are barely hanging on to our enlistment papers in any political party – and it’s precisely because flip-flopping political actions like amnesty force us to ask how much more bull from both the elephants in the Republican Party and the jackasses in the Democratic Party we have to swallow before these political machines totally abandon the average common sense hardworking American.”

The GOP establishment should take careful heed of these rebukes. Rather than listening to overpaid, gimmicky consultants and campaign managers, Republicans need to start listening to Palin. While warnings of partisan exodus are nothing new to the Republican Party, the conservative firebrand and former vice presidential candidate isn’t one to make empty threats and knows what Americans want.

n 2009, Palin defied the GOP by endorsing Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman over Republican Dede Scozzafava. Palin’s electrifying maneuver tossed the GOP into a firestorm of conservative rebuke and set an example to always vote ideology over party. In the three years that followed, Palin leveraged her star power to dethrone establishment incumbents of both parties and brought conservative newcomers into national prominence.

It’s no wonder that among low income Republicans, past opinion polls have reflected immense support for Palin. Her warning that people are “barely hanging on to our enlistment papers in any political party” is proof that America’s working class is becoming increasingly frustrated by the elitist, anti-sovereignty, pro-globalist slant of the political class. The more Americans work, the more it seems establishment Republicans and Democrats work against them. Between Congress making a law against everything, the Supreme Court ruling in favor of Big Brother and the President consulting the United Nations for permission to start wars, Americans can’t find relief from their distress.

I believe that if Palin goes full bore on the news media, and calls them out on PROTECTING THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION INSTEAD OF INVESTIGATING THEM, they'll not be able to successfully overcome her attacks. Why? Because all she needs to do is be truthful about how the media is ENGAGED IN THE MULTIPLE COVER-UPS BY THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION. TELL AMERICA THAT THE IRS IS HANDING OUT BONUSES, etc!!

Palin needs to come out and EDUCATE THE LOW INFORMATION VOTER. Tell them that 0bama is funding and training AL QAEDA in Syria. We are on the side of those who CUT PEOPLE'S HEARTS OUT AND EAT THEM. We are on the side of those who kill young children simply for criticizing Mohammed. 0bama is on the WRONG SIDE in everything he does. He punishes any country that supports Israel. His funding of the Muslim Brotherhood has resulted in mass riots in Egypt. His illegal bombing of Libya resulted in him abandoning four Americans to die in Benghazi, etc.

She needs to talk about the 0bama's pathetic $100 million VACATION in Africa while telling us public tours of the WH are closed due to lack of funds.. 0bama has shut down fleet week and even barred the military from celebrating the fourth of July with fireworks. While the 150th anniversary of Gettysburg is being reenacted, where is 0bama? He's in Africa, praising THEM while bashing US.

Conservatives are gritty, but not nearly enough. They need to go on the offensive, HARDCORE AND WITHOUT MERCY that the news media is enemy #1. Unless the low information voter is awoken to the media's lies and cover-ups, all hope is lost.

Correct.

I like ‘Liberty’ party better. I know it’s an old party, but ‘liberty’ is a winner!

The unique gift Reagan had is sorely missed in American politics. The more time goes by, the more I realize just how much a Godsend he was. There will never be another RWR and America is terribly detached from his legacy now, and largely because of the current corrupt and criminal regime.

"Margaret Thatcher was the epitome of everything feminists claim they support – a self-made woman who rose to power on her own merits without the patronage of any man. It’s time these liberal hypocrites showed her and women in general the same respect conservatives have all along. It’s disgraceful that America’s politicians snubbed her achievements, as Mrs. Thatcher helped secure our own union while setting a mighty example for women around the world. Like all great leaders, she belongs to the ages now, and I trust that time will only burnish the Iron Lady’s shining legacy when all these petty slights are long forgotten.”

While warnings of partisan exodus are nothing new to the Republican Party...

It much more than "warnings".

Four million Republican voters stayed home on election night rather than vote for a liberal Governor from Massachusetts, the most liberal state in the union. Election races all down the ticket were hurt by that, it was a horrible election for Republicans.

What’s the problem here? Why can’t we get constitutionalists to mole into the GOP boardrooms? C’mon guys, learn some infiltration technique.
