While I don’t have a problem with hunting, Kagan claims to be an Orthodox Jew . . .. which generally forbids sport hunting by Jews and makes it all but impossible for Jews to eat hunted meat (except in unusual/extreme circumstances).
Anyway, not particularly relevant, but it just shows that she is a fraud on many levels.

Well, I wouldn’t quite say that.
True, liberals often imply that the Second Amendment is ONLY about hunting, which is not true.
But I think the founders were thinking about the right of citizens to have weapons in the wilderness to defend themselves and their families against dangerous beasts, and to feed their families.
Also, to defend themselves against criminals and outlaws, in the country or the city.
And finally and most specifically, to defend themselves against the government if and when it abuses its proper powers. I wouldn’t rule out any of those legitimate reasons why people should have guns if they choose.
Or purely for sport, whether hunting or target shooting.
