PHOENIX - The notoriously outspoken and often controversial Westboro Baptist Church has made several threats through social media intending to picket the funerals of the 19 firefighters killed in the Yarnell Hill wildfire near Prescott.
Westboro Baptist Church posted several tweets from their Twitter account within the last 48 hours, connecting the firefighter deaths to punishment for the world's apparent tolerance of homosexuality.
In a tweet posted at 2:56 p.m. Monday, the church said, "Westboro Baptist Church THANKS GOD for AZ fires that killed 19 firefighters!"
In another post, they retweeted Arizona Senator John McCain, adding their intent to picket: "WBC to picket! "@SenJohnMcCain: The City of Prescott has released the names of the Granite Mountain Hotshots who lost their lives yesterday."

Liberal Democrat Fred Phelps is a "civil rights" lawyer and is the recipient of multiple awards from the NAACP and other similar racist outfits. Phelps makes a big deal about moving to Topeka on the same day that the Warren Court handed down its notorious 1954 decision:
On May 24, 1954 the Lord brought my wife and me to Topeka. That same day the Supreme Court issued its order in Brown v. Board of Education. The same establishment power-mongers who opposed the simple request by black people to be treated equally in education oppose us today.
Remarkably for an older white guy, he's also stated his affinity for rap "music". In short, there's little daylight between Fred Phelps and his fellow Democrats, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. That's why he and his cadre of lawyers stay out of the hood. He be down wid the cause.
Yes but it's the Phelps dwelling (with an addition) in Topeka at 3701 SW 12th Street at Orleans. Check it out on the map tool of your choice. It's in a residential neighborhood. The Phelps home/church is equipped with a swimming pool and a basketball court. I drove by it a few months ago. He's not a Christian by any means. His religion? Democrat.

The Arizona Firefighters have provided a service of immense value to the public. The WBC have accomplished nothing of value to society, and their loss would be our gain.

I call “Extreme Hot Air”. They always “threaten”, and then they never show. I bet these twits couldn’t even find Prescott on a map! Someone should sue them for all the times they have threatened to show up, local LE calls in reinforcements, and then the twits don’t show.
