I am in awe of that nations populace to enact change in a corrupt regime. Some have told me that I was born 100 years too late, I argue it is 200.
“What a rebuke of a Obama favorite. Egg will need to be wiped from the Ones face.”
Army deposes Morsi. In TV statement, army chief names judge provisional president. Tahrir Sq. jubilant
DEBKAfile Special Report July 3, 2013, 10:36 PM (IDT)
Sources in Cairo report that top Muslim Brotherhood officials will be tried for crimes committed during their year in office.
debkafiles Middle East sources report that the army chiefs led by Defense Minister Gen. Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi rejected the American proposal.
Obama promised to back steps taken by President Morsi to show he is responsive to the oppositions concerns, while Gen. Dempsey asked Egyptian generals to moderate their stand against the Muslim Brotherhood. The underlying message was that if they failed to do so, Washington might reconsider its $1.3 billion annual military assistance package which is the main source of income for the armed forces.
Heartened by the US presidents vote of support, Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood and its Islamic allies, rejected the armys ultimatum for resolving the countrys deadly crisis, saying it would sow confusion and ran contrary to the Egyptian constitution.
Tuesday morning, US President Barack Obama and Chief of US General Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey intervened in the Egyptian crisis early Tuesday, July 2, in an attempt to save the besieged President Mohamed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood. Obama called the Egyptian president and Gen. Dempsey phoned Chief of staff Gen. Sedki Sobhi, hoping to defuse the three-way crisis between the regime, the army and the protest movement before it gets out of hand.
The crash of Morsis presidency would seriously undermine the objectives of the Arab Revolt pursued by the Obama administration as the arch-stone of his Middle East policy.
It would be good if the Egyptian military leaders offered to train the US military leaders in how to grow a set and take out the trash to save the country.
Morsi should have taken the money.....
I just heard a quip on radio by some journolista who stated new elections would keep islamic parties by any name out of the process.
If we could only do the same here in America...
OHHH I hear Nachum got home early put on the computer went to Al Jazeera live stream LOL!
Haha...it’s a roadmap!
Apparently they have an interim president already
I got a feeling you better ask him in a hurry. If the past is any judge of the future, I don’t think Morsi is long for this world.
Riddick Official TRAILER 1 (2013) - Vin Diesel, Karl Urban Movie HD
Yeah. Pretty much.
He’ll go out violently if he is to go out.
But.. even if he is dead.. others will now be taking over the Presidents place, his records, etc.
Information could easily now spill out.
AL Jazeera is the bomb.
Sadly, Muslims NEED either a King, or a Strongman type dictator to run their countries.....they ONLY understand and respect POWER!!
It was know to be so from the beginning.
It was merely a matter of time
“America, Egypt has shown us the way to end this fascist rule, what say you?”
let’s do the same here.
Why can’t we do this with Obama?
There’s a reason why Obama has been removing generals...
