Absolutely. We would be better off if news outlets labeled themselves as conservative or liberal. This idea of “objective journalism” has caused a tremendous amount of damage..
Watch the video. You will see that about half of the people in the mob seem to be trying to pull the attackers back. Got to give them some credit, after all.
The chief (and surely the biggest) attacker has a long rap sheet, and is probably going to take most of the heat from the authorities. He may end up with jail time for this. The woman who shouts and tries to intimidate the sign-carrier might also be charged for interfering with civil rights, and with assault (by threat). (Assault can be by speech or threat, without even touching a person; battery is when you actually hit someone, or touch them aggressively.)

That is mob behavior, which we ordinarily see endemic in Arab countries and various Third-World entities. We should always bear in mind that we are little different from those people. We are all humans, and flawed.
As for gay parades, why should someone be “proud” of being gay? After all, the official line of the homosexual movement is that they could not hep being gay (although they simultaneously call it a lifestyle, to avoid having it labelled as something else!); and if you couldn’t help being gay, whey should you get any credit for it?
Why should anyone be proud of things which happened because of circumstances of birth? One should be proud of accomplishments, or proud of other people’s accomplishments — but it doesn’t make sense to be proud of something which just happened.
I think that I should organize a parade to celebrate sunny-weather pride, because I am proud of sunny weather. That makes about as much sense.
In traditional religion, pride was considered a sin. Sometime this attitude may have been carried a bit far, but the basic idea is that we individuals are not the centers of the universe. God is. But maybe you say that you don’t believe in God, eh? I would respond that although you say that, it is a very difficult position to maintain; and I observe that most atheists very much believe in a god: it is themselves.

I hope the street preachers prosecute to the full extent of the law. That little weasel that grabbed the sign in the first place should be charged as well.
