Obama, Pelosi, Reid love Google.

Google is the DNC.

How ecologically insensitive of Google to encourage road trips on July 4th which we should change to “Freedom from Hydrocarbons” day and celebrate with the the planting of windmills and sodding the earth with solar panels!

I used to get the word of the day from the OED by email.

I unsuscribed after the WOTD on December 25 was Kwanzaa.

Two years in a row.

For leftists, it's ALWAYS about the agenda.

All these companies are the DNC. Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, Apple, ect ect. They are all controlled by the left. If I started boycotting them I wouldn’t be able to own a computer much yet use it.

Startpage.com. Duckduckgo.com. I don’t use any of the highly touted search engines.

It is wonderful to see Bing showing the Denver Civic Center illuminated in red, white and blue on this Independence Day.

Doesn’t startpage.com use Google results? I used to use Alta Vista but they are Yahoo now. Duckduckgo.com I don’t know too much about. I used to use Dogpile.com but they use Google and Yahoo results too. Someone should start a Conservative search engine. They would probably be bombarded with DNS attacks.

IMO, Bings is more offensive than Googles....and I’m not sure I understand Googles...is that supposed to be about road trip across America?

Anyway, I use www.startpage.com....they pledge not to share your private info and they really don’t like PRISM.

A Red/Blue negative of the Whitehouse... I’m not sure if I like it or not, because I can’t tell if its symbolism or not.

Ok, after going to Google and clicking on it, I actually like Googles and find it more “Patriotic” than Bings (if we’re going to compare here).

Googles goes through a family type album where it is a family visiting National Monuments across the US, including the Statue of Liberty and ends with a US Flag and Happy 4th greeting.

I actually take offense to a pic of government building lit up red/white/blue....I mean, isn’t this supposed to be “Independence Day”, where we are Independent of a government telling us what to do, etc?

Just my take...

With genuine respect to Denver's Civic Center, which I confess I would not know from the Roman Forum, neither of these sites is particularly patriotic. I will give Bing additional points for it's red, white and blue colors and perhaps more for choosing to make out of Denver's Civic Center a new national symbol.

And Bing's choice, again, could not be a Christmas Card, could it?

But no salutation, no pageant, pomp or parade - no bombs going off - no celebration, in short, of Americans being free, forevermore.

They were taught in the citadels of Progressive Education Experimentalism that such things are "Jingoist," something to be embarrassed over.

The answer is to celebrate without apology with people who feel the same, and to ignore these ultimate generic sign-boards.

Exactly, Bing is Microsoft. To access Bing search terms for work, I go to the Microsoft Adcenter page...before that they were Yahoo. And we advertise on Google too. Wish we didn't have to do business with any of them, as does my employer, but we do.
