Fourth of July 2013, a good time to read the Constitution and Declaration of Independence
As many, serving in the US and overseas, are deprived of a fire works display so as to pay for the Obama trip to his homeland, this would be a good time for our Military to take an hour or so to read the document they have sworn to uphold, for most, if not all, have never had a reason or opportunity to do so. Our military ahs not sworn to uphold the person in the oval office, it has sworn to:
I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.
As you read those documents, ponder them, for they will teach you much about your job and who it is you serve.
Amazing Christ voluntarily gave His life so that you wouldn’t have to, obama used 6.5 million for a plane trip for him and his family instead of letting the troops have fireworks.
Bet cops will be everywhere with the smell of explosives all around. Freedom rings.
Now that is good, I have to remember that line.
