“How gracious of that evil maggot agency to “allow” protests...”

Actually, the police presence was huge but overall they were polite. Just made it clear that we were not allowed on the property itself. We chanted, “Hey hey ho ho, the NSA has got to go!” And “NSA go away!” Stuff like that.

It was a mix of protesters. Some left at the beginning because some of the speeches were so dang boring! Preaching to the choir. I liked it best when the every-day folk got to vent over the microphone.

Okay, so it was a little unorganized and unprofessional but isn’t that what makes America great? Just every day people getting together to protest an assault on our rights.

Proud to be an American!!

Good report, thanks. I knew about this spot a year or two ago — good for you for going today. It looks like a scary place and I’m not happy that it’s in one of my favorite states. (I’m also concerned about how the CDC is relocating to the heart of the country — Kansas.)
