Posted on 07/05/2013 7:42:26 PM PDT by Bratch
Governor Palin wrote the following in response to the latest scandal coming from the Obama administrations State Deptartment.
She also posted this image, writing:
Outrageous. Once again the cover-up is worse than the crime. Secretary of State John Kerry WAS on his boat while Egypt fell into turmoil resulting in an overthrow of its new government ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood that the Obama Administration had so recently supported and may still support. (That, however, we do not know because President Obamas absolutely dithering foreign policies, his "leading from behind," and his benign statements on the Muslim Brotherhood make no sense to sensible people.)
The State Department categorically denied Kerry was on his boat. Yet CBS had pictures to prove it. Goodness. There is no need to lie, even on such a "little" thing as the location of a government leader during a military confrontation happening in real time. (Benghazi? Ring a bell? There still isnt anyone in the media wholl find out where our Commander-in-Chief was that night.) Come on, Obama Administration! Its no big darn deal that Kerry was on his boat! We expect, and deserve, to assume that our highest ranking public servants to whom We the People have given the most responsibility are always working even when theyre clearing their heads and breathing in some fresh air on a yacht, or sweating away stress on a basketball court, or yukking it up with pals on the fairway lets trust theyre always preparing for the proverbial 3:00 AM phone call.
Being on his boat isnt the issue. Blatantly deceiving the American people is the issue.
Our government, yet again, either had no idea where the boss was, or worse yet, they lied to us. (Oops-a-daisy. Correction. In Obamaspeak, we were told the "least untruthful statement.") Our government directed its swift-ly boat changing denials to what one can only surmise is their perception of who we are: a nation of sheep heads down, grazing away, gullible, ignorant, and undeserving of truth.
Confronted with photographic evidence, the State Department merely tossed the public a handful of hay today in its tepid effort to kinda-sorta explain the whole thing away. Something about, well, yeah, so the evidence contradicted all their public claims, but eh, no harm, no foul. And like good herder dogs, with calm authority to avoid commotion, the bureaucrats barked the suggestion that we all just move along now.
No. You move along, little doggie. Enough is enough. Its unacceptable. Remember, the nations Mama Grizzlies dont just rise up to swat away threats to protect the next generation. They also school, scold, and signal to teach a lesson. One lesson taught all children is if you lie on the little things, youll lie on the big things.
George Orwell wrote of a time when citizens could no longer trust big government, and by wearing down the citizenry through doublespeak and lies a tired country finally retreated to its dark and depressing demise.
America, we shall not go there! Why? Because if we know from our nations forefathers that weariness is not in our blood! Its not in our DNA to retreat. Have faith that there are enough patriots in our exceptional nation willing to fight together for what is right. Proof of this is all the families still encouraging and supporting their loved ones who choose U.S. military service. And proof of a unified commitment to defend our republic is what the independent tea party movement is all about. Disregard the constant criticism, mocking, and flagrant lies about this diverse, proud movement that still spew from big government cheerleaders and their lapdogs in the media. Despite harassment and intimidation, commonsense conservatives are rising up again to get a better view of what is ahead. They are identifying threats to our Constitution and our childrens future. The permanent political class angrily bemoans this because they know our diverse working class those who make the world go round can shake off the slumber, unify, and effectively encourage others to come out of a 2012 hibernation and demand accountability at the 2014 ballot box. Its there we prove the average, everyday Americans ferocious strength when exercising that beautiful belief in loyalty only to a government of the people, by the people, for the people. Until then, we mustnt have the fighting instinct of sheep. Pay attention, do your own homework on candidates and political machines, turn off media that would disrespect you by continuing to deceive, and keep the faith.
While celebrating Americas glorious Independence this week, be secure in knowing that there are more of us who support men and women ready and willing to fight on our behalf for freedom and truth than those who would continually deceive us. Thank God. And thank a Vet.
State Department: say youre sorry and dont ever do this again. CBS News: thank you for doing your job on this issue.
Happy 4th of July weekend, America.
- Sarah Palin
Pretty clear. Kerry on his boat. But changing winds soon hit.And this:
Despite different attributions of this quotes author, the sentiment rings true.
I must say your idea is brave.
You’ll catch some heck on FR with your Condi Rice idea, but I’m for that ticket 100%.
Okay, Condi Rice.
I was thinking it was attached to the anchor! This guy is so klutzy he should never be photographed doing anything!
Ah, screw em. I’ve been around here so long , been flamed so many times that I have flameproof callouses from head to toe. So c’mon and blowtorch me I don’t care. You country clubbers are going to kill your own golden goose while we blue collar zealots know what poor looks like. Been there once, know what it’s like , don’t want to go back, BUT AIN’T ONE DARN BIT SCARED OF IT. Never had a house cleaner , haven’t taken a vacation in 6 years and would chuckle my but off in my “survive the pain veggy garden” listening to some brass ass whine about his sudden poverty right before he takes a full gainer out his window office suite.
we are the regular folks that are conservative constitutionalists BECAUSE IT WHAT our country is founded on, the sailors, soldiers and airmen that always answer the call, the underpaid cops, firemen, teachers, welders etc. that hang onto our jobs with hard work.
SO BRING IT A$$HOLES cuz I have had enough. Enough finger in the air Lindsey (who names a boy Lindsey) Grahams of the world, Enough of Tennessee’s own Lamemar Alexander (hey I can get a headline today) and ENOUGH OF PEOPLE SAYING THIS TRUE CONSERVATIVE OR THAT ONE IS “UNELECTABLE”. Sarah Palin kicks the #2 outa anybody else talkin right now. How about that Gowdy from S.C. and Ted Cruz from Texas. Marsha Blackburn from Tn. Why not throw them in the mix and freeze out the feckless Jeb Bush and won’t dance with the one that brung you Marco Rubio.
rant over. whew
Condi Rice is a PC, neocon Rockefeller type Republican for starters.
One thing I still remember is her trashing of Israel as Secretary of State. The Israelis responded to terrorist attacks from Gaza with military strikes and there she was condemning them.
El Rushbo and other conservatives expressed their shock at the whole matter and the W Bush Administration toned down. the comments.
Why shouldn’t we have been shocked????
This was a few years after 9/11 and the US was certainly using military force against terrorists. Why shouldn’t Israel be allowed to do so was our argrument? Condi Rice thought they shouldn’t.
And Condi was all excited about the “Arab spring” in Egypt as well I recall......
LOL good rant.
“Sara Palin...Her love of country is as clear as a winter’s day. She has all the attributes of a leader”
What more could we ask for?
The Isabella is a sailboat.. not a motor yacht! The pics bust J effin K but the big boat is not his tax cheater... could be Nurse Fancy Pants or his real boss.
I greatly admire Condi but I don't think she is pro-life. That is a MAJOR reason to exclude someone from political office, for me. I also admire Palin, but I think she needs to be more than a used-to-be mayor and partial, one-term governor. She would be a good choice for the veep position again if someone like Ted Cruz or Paul Ryan were running for prez. As much as I like her and agree with pretty much all she believes, I do not think she is ready for a presidential run just yet. She's 1000% better than Obama, but he at least had a few terms as state senator and U.S. senator in his resume'. Looking at 2016, the Demoncrats are readying a few "seasoned" politicians to run and try to keep the White House. I pray that they crash and burn, that 2014 gives Conservatives a majority in the Senate and House and 2016 is ripe for a true American that loves this country and wants us to be great once again.
Just exactly how are Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz ready for the job as president? They have ZERO administrative experience while Palin has an impressive resume in that regard.
> Im no boat person, but is that a dog collar around his neck??
Maybe 0 was on board too...; )
aaaagggghhh. We need exactly a Palin type. We have convinced ourselves that it takes some kind of massive resume’ or a university pedigree a mile long to be POTUS. I harken back to the late great, William F. Buckley, “I’d rather be governed by five hundred individuals selected at random from the phone book than the next 500 Harvard grads.
We need joe (or Josephine) average in the white house. Definately not another silver spoon type.
Cruz and Ryan are reliable, as far as I know, Conservatives that have favorable name recognition and are currently serving in the United States Congress - getting things done. Palin was on the national stage five years ago and has gotten nothing but rotten and biased press coverage since then. I have nothing against her but I don't think we can be naive and assume all of the voting public will be gung-ho about her being THE President. I'm being realistic here. However, IF she is the nominee, I would have no problem voting for her.
I like Cruz an Ryan where they are right now. As far as “getting things done”, other than bluster, I haven’t seen much results in that area. They need re-enforcements. No matter who gets the nomination, they’ll all get the Palin treatment. They’ve got to be tough enough to take it. Again, Palin’s proven her mettle. The verdict is out on the others.
have never been much of a Palin fan but DAMN
NO ONE is saying these things except Sarah
good for her
“America, we shall not go there! Why? Because if we know from our nation’s forefathers that weariness is not in our blood! It’s not in our DNA to retreat.”
it’s all very nice and stirring but I still want to ask
what exactly are we supposed to do?
Absolutely. Palin is painful to read. She gets away with it (for the most part) when speaking, but she writes like she talks, and then we end up with word-salads like the above.
‘Just exactly how are Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz ready for the job as president? They have ZERO administrative experience while Palin has an impressive resume in that regard. “
She obviously doesn’t want the job or she would already have tried to get it-whether she could win or not is another matter
(I don’t think she could but she still is a force to be reckoned with)
She resigned from office. She failed the test. Retreat IS in her D.N.A., apparently, despite her claims to the contrary.
