You can always count on Eric and Paul Ryan to be on the same page as Juan McKeating.
Fire up big time.
Let Eric Cantor hear from us!
If the GOP in the house votes for this bill the official death of the Republican Party won’t be too long after it. Why are these people so scared and stupid of doing the right thing? Being Democrat-lite won’t get you any voters.
“The House may begin consideration of the border security measures that have been passed by the Homeland Security and Judiciary Committees and begin reviewing other immigration proposals, Mr. Cantor wrote, noting that Republicans will hold an internal conference on the issue on July 10th.”
what’s wrong with this??? best thing the House could do is rip apart the Senate bill, showing what a fraud it is and comparing it to the disaster that is obamacare....if the Congress comes out with a dynamite border security plan they can stick it to obama and the rest of the demoKrats- never mind mclame and the GOPe....
And this is where we get set up to be stabbed in the back again.
Start forming the Freedom Party Sarah and Levin, we're going to need it.
Eric Cantor is forever sending me mail from
House Republicans are absolute MORONS if they pass this bill..The Senate doing it didnt surprise me since they are mostly full of RINO trash, but House Republicans..we cant rely on them either??
It offends me to no end these politicians enact major changes for American society, without a single public hearing.
IF there were hearings we could have reaction, and people would be able to expose all the crazy extra provisions which are hidden under the simplistic name of the bill.
Why not hold hearings and a national debate on these subjects? These politicians are just awful leaders.
So the game is on.
Cantor should visit Mexico to see the country that he’s going to live in if he sells us out.
Of course, he won’t be in the government of either country, because the rest of us will have walked away from his party, which will soon consist of 10 guys on K street explaining to the other 10 guys on Wall Street why money doesn’t actually equal votes.
Votes come from people, who actually remember when someone tries to screw them.
Someone who knows the law better than I can probably confirm this, but I think it goes to reconciliation if the House passes a companion bill to the Senate. It doesn’t matter if the two bills are radically different. The House bill might not even include a path to citizenship, aka amnesty.
If the bills go to reconciliation, the House and Senate choose representatives from each to hash out the differences. Conservatives will be outnumbered by Democrats and RINOs during these negotiations, so we’ll almost certainly get amnesty or worse back into the combined bill.
At that point the single bill goes back to the House and Senate for final approval. I believe it can then be passed by simply majorities. I’m not sure if the Senate filibuster rules still apply. Either way, if the House votes, it will pass amnesty. The Democrats will vote in lockstep (or nearly so), and a handful of RINOs will put it over the top. Additionally, many traitorous Republicans who would love to vote for the bill won’t need to. They’ll be given political cover throughout the process.
My congresscreature always votes with Boehner, however he votes. But I'll call her again anyway.
Course they will. *slams head against wall*
“Republocratic party are for sure going to do this bill, they have learned from ObamaFascist to RULE the country not fear the people.
The government does after all just kill those who oppose them......
KILL THE BILL!!
Did the gluttons remove ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE????
Did they defund ANYTHING to close the border
or stop the arms flow to al Qaeda???
true conservatives: please reflect on what our Lord is trying to get you to do. this constant affliction, going on for more than two decades since Reagan should have sunk in by now.
Ya can never trust a TARPer.
I would expect nothing less from the GOP.
To L with the Republicans.
I've never seen it in a political party, and a nation, before.
Live long enough, you see it all.
