Who knew that Gov. Chris Christie was such a pussycat? He’s been strutting around Trenton like the master of the universe for years, and now he says he really doesn’t run the show, even among his fellow Republicans.

“They often come to me for my view and my opinion and I give it to them,” he says. “But in the end, I’m not the one down there pushing the buttons. They are.”

*Note: It’s not clear if the above report actually happened…but it’s probably better than anything that actually did.

The good news is, with the demise of Jeb's candidacy, the Establishment is sans candidate, save Christie, who's candidacy is dead in the water.

If Cruz decides to run, he's a shoe in.

Personally, I thought Christie’s speech at the Republican convention was rather weak. I believe the content was good but he was too winded to make a good speech. I don’t believe he would last very long in the primaries.

I am at the point I see no one that I would vote for except Sarah Palin..To me she is the honest one I do not see honesty in anyone of the others that might run..Sarah will get the job done and bring us back to a nation everyone admires..

The fix is in for Jebbie; his nomination is more important to the grand poo-bahs than his election.

The media has been McCaining Christie for a long time now, and the Democrat wannabes of the GOP are eating it up. They never learn.

I love the Bushes but I will not vote for Jeb If he runs.. I am a Palin woman and if she runs then I will vote for her. If anyone else runs it will take a lot for them to convince me to vote for them..Especially the one scammering to put their hat in the ring now..I was right about Obama being a communist Muslim, and also Chris Christy was a democrat all along..

Interesting that the same feminists who told us marriage was some kind of dungeon of oppression are now so much for gay pedophiling marriages and fascism, true dungeons of sexual oppression very similar to the way Islam imposes it on sex slaves or on cranking Jihad brainwashed kids at the Madrassas.

One thing is for sure, living under a liberal is just as any totalitarianism in the end using the same tools of hubris.

Ted Cruz is the future of the GOP. Ignore him at your own peril.

What does crispie creme have to do with Ted Cruz? I have never ignored Cruz. I have nothing but praise and respect for him and I have posted that many times on Free Republic.

I meant it as a general statement. Cristie would be a disaster as a GOP nominee. He should switch parties.

Yes... crispie creme should join the Fat Arsed American Communists for the Democrat Party. He would fit right in... the traitorous bag of bovine poop.
