Exactly. The creators of socialized ObamaCare knew all along that it would not work. One cannot indefinitely force private insurance companies to take people with preexisting conditions. The insurance companies—crippled with red tape— will run out of money and shut their doors.

Then single payer will come in as the white knight. Virtually all doctors and nurses will be forced to work for one giant nationwide hospital. One dirty, bureaucratic, cruel, overcrowded, germ-filled hospital. Just like in England.

Just wait.

Been a nurse since 1979. Glad I don’t have a whole career still ahead of me in this wretched system.

Of course this was their plan all along... it’s merely incrementalism this monstrosity they passed without reading or understanding. The designers however, knew exactly what they were doing, creating a system that has to fail so they can blame the greedy insurance companies for rising premiums and reduced services. Dennis Kucinish on Fox News today at least is one Democrat that will admit this plan !!
I suspect they will tie the doctors license to being in on the scam so as to avoid dual medical care systems one for the cash payers and one for the masses who need to rely on the government largess !
We are screwed, medical-care speaking !!

That's the plan. And the response will be to fight for refundable vouchers to allow people to opt out. This will have to be sold as an opportunity for people who watch their weight and avoid X,Y, and Z to earn a discount for their good behavior. This has the advantage of being good policy as well as self-evidently fair.

It's similar to what needs to happen on public schools. And I think, in the long run, we WILL win on schools.
