The Trayvon Martin case has been nothing short of heartbreak from the very beginning. Regardless of what anyone believes about Trayvon's past, his innocence or George Zimmerman's, the fact remains that a teenager is dead. I honestly didn't think I would get emotionally broken up more than I was over the story that Rachel Jeantel's friendship with Martin stemmed from the fact he was one of the only people who never picked on her. The story painted such a tragic picture of friendship and two people whose lives will never be the same.
Then came this week's testimonies and reactions from Trayvon Martin's parents to leave me – and so much of America – floored. On Friday morning, Sybrina Fulton took the stand to talk about her son. As part of her testimony she had to identify her child's screams in his finals seconds of life. Later in the day, Tracy Martin had to sit in court as the medical examiner, Dr Bao, explained how Trayvon died in severe pain and was alive for minutes after getting shot in the chest.
Essentially, Friday – almost as much as the day Trayvon was shot – was any parent's nightmare. Trayvon's parents had to come face to face with their son's murder while Fulton got questioned over whether or not her son actually deserved to get killed. Tracy had to sit in the same room as the man who shot his son in the chest, unable to retaliate or let the rage he has to be feeling out.
Yes, this is the worst imaginable day for a parent. But it's one the parents of an African-American child has been conditioned to accept as a possibility....

Well that was a different spin on the facts. White parents all over the country this weekend reminded their kids that if they wanted the family car, they had to shoot a couple of black kids while they were out.
Trayvon wasn’t murdered. He was killed while committing an act of violence. That will always be a tragedy for his mother, but persecuting George Zimmernam isn’t the way to deal with it. People have to be able to defend themselves when someone violently attacks them. Trayvon should have hurried home, if he was worried about George observing him.

Yeh that was the same Dr Bao that let him lay out in the rain for 3 hours before baggin and taggin him -- I mean his notes did that.
Article written by a black writer who is, either intentionally or unintentionally, ignorant about the facts in this case. Worried about his son coming home? Maybe, just maybe, he should make sure his son is not a thug attacking people who he feels has disrespected him in some manner.
Also, maybe he should caution his son to stay far away from black “yutes” at whose hands he is far, far, far more likely to suffer death than at the hands of a white person.

The violent, criminal thug as victim is one of the most common liberal false narratives.
Liberal claim it is America's fault. The parents who are clearly going for a dishonest payday are the victims. The mother perjured herself. The parents have lied repeatedly since this started.
The parents claimed they had no idea Trayvon seldom went to school, had been suspended several times for robbery and drugs. They claimed they did not know their son was a drug dealer. They said they did not know he had illegal hand guns.
They had no idea where he was that night.
I wonder if the author thinks people are stupid enough to believe his lies.
Sounds like a good job of cleansing of the gene pool to me. At least po ole Travon won’t be able to produce any little Travons.

I'm amazed that these 'parents', who shuffled their kid off to the grandmother to be raised, put more effort into getting Trayvon's (TM) name trademarked and trying to make a buck off the wannabe thug's death than they did raising him.

ME was allowed to change testimony on the length of time Saint Thug was alive after the shot. He was not allowed to change his testimony on how high Saint Thug was at the time of the incident. Since the medical report would contradict the testimony, it was thrown out before the Defense could use it. Can you smell railroad job?
