Since the establishment blames the tea party for causing them to miss out regaining the Senate in 2010 and 2012 I’m sure we’ll get safe RINO candidates.

The GOPe was quite pleased with all of their establishment picks that lost in 2012.

This is EXACTLY why I officially left the Republican Party this last January and became a confirmed independent, a no-party-affiliated voter as printed right on my voter's registration card. I've been threatening to do exactly that for the last three election cycles. But I always resisted because I held out the forlorn hope that we the conservatives could actually reform the establishment into it's own original roots. I realize now the naiveté of that goal.

So after 37 years of faithful activism and donations, I left. It took me many months to become comfortable in my new reality. At first I felt rudderless and directionless. But then as I grew angrier and angrier at the stupidity and even evil of the RINO leadership, I realized I had done the correct thing. I am opposed to those opportunists who foolishly align themselves to advance a personal agenda when the reality plainly shows they should stand up for the greater cause of conservatism. My opposition finally outweighed the feelings that reform can be achieved from within. Okay, here endeth the rant.
