A few different hotel chains are coming under criticism from pro-lifers for cooperating with an Atlanta, Georgia abortion business and offering women discounts for staying at the hotel if they are in town for abortions.
Atlanta Center for Womens Choice, which does abortions to 24 weeks, advertises that it is providing pregnancy termination support for the entire family.” The abortion clinic’s web site lists the hotels that provide the abortion discounts.
“The following are Hotels in the immediate area which offer reduced rates to our patients. You need only advise them that you are a patient at Atlanta Center for Women’s Choice,” the web site says.
Those hotels are listed as follows:
Microtel Inn & Suites1840 Corporate Blvd. |
Staybridge Suites540 Pharr Road |
Quality Suites505 Pharr Road |
This isn’t the first time hotels have offered discounts for women getting abortions. In New Jersey, the Clarion Hotel in Cherry Hill offered a reduced rate of $59 for a room originally priced at $109 to women staying there from out of town to get an abortion. Women needed only show a receipt from the abortion business saying an overnight stay is necessary.
Other hotel chains are already on the Life Decisions International boycott list, which maintains they support Planned Parenthood: Starwood (lodging including Four Points, Sheraton, St. Regis, W, Westin, etc.), and Wyndham (lodging including Baymont, Days Inn, Dream Hotels, Hawthorne, Howard Johnson, Knights Inn, Microtel, Night, Ramada, Super 8, Travelodge, TRYP Hotels, Wingate, etc.).
On the other hand, Dury Hotels received praise for challenging the Obama abortion mandate.
Ping!
Wasn’t Microtel a Hannity sponsor a while back?
It never ends does it?
Blatant sexism.
Why don’t Choice Brands and Intercontinental Brands just post a 50% off Kill Your Baby coupon on their websites.
I am premier level with both brands and I will voice my disgust.
Oh. My. God.
what the hell is the matter with people???
Must be run by fang-tooth man-hating feminazis.
Oh, I don’t think showing a clinic receipt is enough. The women should have to show the dismembered “products of conception” at the front desk. And count all the parts.
Womens’ choice? They forget about Travelers’ Choice!
I think its fine to pressure these businesses this way, but be aware that almost any hotel will offer a “rate” for referrals from medical providers nearby.
While I appreciate the point you are making, (yes hotels will offer a special rate for physician referrals), these women are actively undergoing abortions in the hotel room & these hotels run the risk of having a bloody mess left behind. That’s a bit different than offering a special rate for out-of-towners there to receive medical care from a specialist.
I know, the advertising says, “CLEAN restrooms!”
Wyndham just lost my business.
No. I'll admit to being stunned by this one.
Um, I'm pretty sure women are not having their abortions performed in the hotel rooms.
Motel of DEATH and KILLERS.
You’d be wrong then. These women who are undergoing late term abortions head to the clinic on day one to have laminaria inserted which dilates the cervix. They then stay in the hotel room until day two or three when they return to the clinic to have the infant dismembered & extracted. So, while they are in the hotel room, they often have cramping & bleeding, and they can have premature labor with subsequent delivery of the baby.
So yes, the abortion process is ongoing while they’re hanging out in the hotel. Is the doctor there ripping the baby apart?? No. But the woman is certainly in the process of having an abortion while staying at these hotels.
There have been articles posted here on FR as well as on other pro-life sites that cite these “clinics” advising women to sit on the toilet in their hotel room if they experience contractions. Nurses & doctors are often on-call to visit women at these hotels if they begin to experience problems.
These hotels are complicit in the abortion process.
really morbidly sick.
In fairness, this has nothing to do with the hotel chains. The owners of the franchise however are to blame.
