Saudi Arabia is targeting both Israel and Iran with powerful ballistic missiles, new satellite photography shown by military experts to the British Telegraph suggests.
Images analyzed by experts at IHS Janes Intelligence Review has revealed a previously undisclosed surface-to-surface missile base deep in the Saudi desert, with capabilities for hitting both countries, the Telegraph reported on Wednesday.
Analysts who examined the photos spotted two launch pads with markings pointing northwest towards Tel Aviv and northeast towards Tehran, according to the report.
The pads are designed for Saudi Arabias arsenal of lorry-launched DF 3 missiles, which have a range of 1,500-2,500 miles and can carry a two-ton payload.

And an old but classic repudiation of Saudi innocence...

Anyone trusting the Saudis is a slave indeed.
Iran is both smart and fanatical. They are itching to kick off WWIII.
Iranians can’t get in here as easily as Saudis, and the links between the 9/11 hijackers and Iran are already quite clear.
wrong. Iran and Saudi Arabia are both our enemies. They are also enemies of each other. Let us not kid ourselves, neither is trust-worthy and neither likes us
What exactly is that smoke?
Most islamic countries have Islamic governments and Islamic law -- even the supposedly "democratic" Malaysia has laws that make it illegal for a Moslem to convert from Islam
The only Islamic country that has anything like what your post is claiming is Indonesia, not even Turkey in recent years under Erdogan. Every other Moslem country is more or less run by Shariah law.
What????
These were Saudis, trained in Saudi madrassahs in the Wahabbi/Salafi strain which views all infidels as worthy of instant death. The Saudis fund these as they have funded extremism i nAfghanistan, Pakistan, Indonesia, nigeria, Somalia etc. etc. etc.
you credit the Iranian government more than they deserve
Most polls of Iranian people show that they have steadily lost interest in religion since the start of the Islamic republic. Most blame the Ayatollah for their current dismal state.
Most Iranis are not looking for a fight, definitely not with Israel or the USA. They wouldn't mind a piece of the Saudis though....
there are no links between 9/11 and the Iranis. Those were Sunni fanatics, Saudi citizens, not Shia or Irani
It’s not the people who are pushing the nuke program forwardit’s the leadership. Not to mention “most polls” are taken of the city dwellers (such as the late Neda Agha-Soltan) instead of the rural populace who are strongly in favor of the Ayatollah.
canard — Khomeini was not a Moslem Brotherhood member. Hamas has openly come out against Shia. And, it’s not a spat — the blood that has been spilt between the Shia and Sunni since Hussein or Ali’s death has been quite enough to justify it as a lot more than a spat
Perhaps. But it’s still just speculation until someone opens up or connects to the guidance system to see where the missiles are actually targeted.
Sources?
During Khomeini’s involvement in the MB, he openly advocated an alliance between Sunni and Shi’a for the purpose of attacking Islam’s “enemies” (chiefly Christianity and Judaism).
Iran has always been the chief sponsor of Hamas, even more so than any other country. This is common knowledge. Same goes with Zawahiri’s ties to Iran.
The Saudi’s have nukes?
Khomeini was never in the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood.
and Hamas was sponsored by Saudi Arabia
Get it in your head -- neither the Iranis nor the Saudis are 'good' - both are EQUALLY evil and untrustworthy
We need to push that, in fact now the Shia are rising and this is the right time to nudge them to fight the Sunnis for domination and then let them keep fighting. Supply any side that is losing so that it can keep killing the other side. Keep the pot boiling between the two
Indeed, ties between the Brotherhood and Iran predate 1979. Hassan al Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, believed that Sunnis and Shiites should overcome their differences to face their common enemies. So, too, did Ayatollah Khomeini, who openly advocated an alliance between the two main branches of Islam. Al Banna and Khomeini were also linked by a prominent Iranian scholar named Nawab Safawi. Khomeini was close to Safawi and al Banna also embraced the Iranian cleric. As others have written, Safawi introduced Khomeini to the Brotherhood and its political ideology. Through Safawi, the Brotherhoods ideas were imported into Iran and had a lasting impact on Iranian Islamist thinking. So if I were mistaken about direct membership by Khomeini, there is no mistake about direct involvement between Khomeini and the MB on this level.
Indeed, this should be obvious. Iran is today the chief sponsor of Hamas, a Sunni Islamist terrorist organization that is itself a wing of the Muslim Brotherhood. And throughout the 1990s Iran was allied with Hassan al Turabi, the Muslim Brotherhood leader who helped orchestrate a military coup in Sudan in 1989. Turabi, in turn, was one of Osama bin Ladens main benefactors from 1991 through 1996. As was documented during the trial of some of the terrorists responsible for the 1998 embassy bombings, bin Laden was introduced to key Iranian leaders, as well as Hezbollah terrorists, in Turabis Sudan. So, Iran has consistently allied itself with the Muslim Brotherhood, even if there have been tensions and rhetorical disputes from time to time.
