In an interview with Entertainment Weekly released on Wednesday, The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield suggested that he’d like to play Peter Parker as a young man exploring his bisexuality.
According to Garfield, he told producer Matt Tolmach that he’d like MJ – Mary Jane – to be a boy.
“I was kind of joking, but kind of not joking about MJ,” he said. “And I was like, ‘What if MJ is a dude?’ Why can’t we discover that Peter is exploring his sexuality? It’s hardly even groundbreaking!…So why can’t he be gay? Why can’t he be into boys?”
He then said that he’d like his love interest to be Michael B. Jordan of The Wire: “I’ve been obsessed with Michael B. Jordan since The Wire. He’s so charismatic and talented. It’d be even better—we’d have interracial bisexuality!”
Garfield has already spoken to director Marc Webb about the possibility of a bisexual Spidey as well. “Michael B. Jordan, I know,” said Webb.

My brother-in-law is homosexual. My in-laws are soooo supportive of him. One day, they went to his house (house-sitting or something, I can't remember) and my mother-in-law noticed his "partner" had a screensaver that pops up pictures of naked men. Apparently she was rather appalled by that.
I found her offense very perplexing. Maybe homosexual supporters just really don't think about it?

I don’t see how they can ignore it; how do they think they contract all those diseases (of which AIDS is only one)? While the media has done a great job suppressing the link, most Catholics at this point know the priests who cost us millions are outright homosexuals (as opposed to pedophiles).

So why can’t we cut future ticket and comic book buyers by fifty percent? Every time they “PUSH” the envelope and make another character gay, it’s just one less movie I will ever spend money to see, or give ratings on TV.

What is “devout” about a person with that take on homosexuality? The Catholic Church considers it a disorder, and it is a bar to entrance to the seminary. The Episcopal Church thinks it’s great (regardless of how God made His feelings known about it).
