There is no ideal candidate for today’s conservatives.
We have to move the best man(or woman) forward at all levels.
Perry is way to liberal for some that believe anything the opposition says, but his record has been very successful and conservative overall.
Do people like him piss off the fringe on both sides? Yes they do, but we hire them to do what is the best we can for bot sides.
No Conservative Gov will make Liberals happy.
No Liberal will make Conservatives happy.
This is the NATURE of Governance.
What counts is who moved our cause further.
