Somalia raises minimum journalist age to 40

Somalia, with a history of repressing journalism, has set the minimum age at 40 for anyone intending to practice as a journalist in the country. …

In total, 22 journalists have lost their lives in Somalia this year.

Don't give this administration any ideas. They'll probably make it mandatory to donate $10,000 to OFA, the DNC or give that much in in-kind contributions.

Let’s not jump to any conclusions...

It may not be as bad as shutting out young folks from the profession. Perhaps this ruling was coupled with an edict that all those of age 18 to 39 yesterday, are hereby decreed to be 40 today.

Oh, and underwear MUST be worn in-side out. You’ll have to wear it on the outside, so it may be checked...

I remember many studies that show that people become more conservative as they age....

So in that regard, maybe this is not a bad idea....
