Obama's Signs Executive Action: If a Child 'Confesses' ... Mommy & Daddy Have a Gun...

[snip]
one of the 23 so called executive actions on gun control Obama recently signed called for doctors to ask their patients if they owned a firearm. This is not just directed at psychiatrists, but at all physicians including pediatricians. In other words, if your child confesses that Mommy and Daddy have a gun in the house that could conceivably be considered the actions of mentally defective individuals and you could be disarmed. Once we are disarmed we cease to be citizens and become subjects.

hmmm.....technically - “no” would be an excellent - and truthful - answer for us too.

They aren’t “in” our house.
They are in a room off our porch - attached to the house.

Seriously - what could anyone want this power for other than to gather info on you for when they need it and by need it I mean when they come for you. Can you imagine your local gangsters - “Yeah sure I got me a piece”.

I would ask my GP if he ever intends to ask me or my family this question if not he gets my business.

And they dared call Bush a Nazi.

Why don’t doctors rebel and tell the gov’t to get lost?

The feral government is the source of many, many medical pay checks.

If you could find a timeline somewhere on the internet of all the (equivalent) executive orders Hitler gave on his road to becoming dictator, I think you would find a strong correlation to what Obama is doing today.

90% or more.

But my doctor has more guns and ammo than I do. He has never asked. We do talk about the ComDem Insanity in DC often. He is also a good friend. And he is X-Military.

Too much executive and not just at the federal, but at the state and local level.

Perhaps the greatest statement ever made about how liberty is lost.

You’re exactly right. The frog is cooked so he doesn’t have to worry about slowly turning up the heat. He can basically do what he wants.

Any Statesman who believes in Freedom at all should speak out against such brazen Tyranny in the strongest terms. It's time to rein in this power-mad Fascist in the White House.

He thinks he can dictate sweeping alterations to private American society with the stroke of a pen and without Congressional consent?

This Tyrant is making a strong case for impeachment.

He's an Authoritarian Socialist of the highest order.

I'm astounded at his hubris. This must be repudiated by the People. It's just the most counter-Revolutionary phenomenon in US History. By counter-Revolutionary, I mean to say that his agenda is diametrically opposed to every principle of the American Revolution, Natural Rights, Englightenment philosophy, etc.

Most of us have never seen a threat like this in our lifetimes, and it's happening in America, the last place it should happen.

That, at the very least, will be History's judgment one day, if there's an American Republic to record it.

My kids are instructed to say “that’s none of your business, and not your job”.

I have trained my grandchildren not to say that because they are children and are required to speak respectfully to adults. I also tell them not to lie.

When asked by a doctor, teacher, etc. about firearms in the home, they are only allowed to say, "That's none of my business." And it's true, what other people know about their parents' and grandparents' firearms is not the children's business.

Saying, "it's none of my business" takes the pressure off the kids and pokes the nanny staters in the eye.

I can’t believe this is the USA.
*******
The sheeple are docile and unwilling to challenge authority, even in the face of losing their privacy, freedom and rights. We are truely the proverbial frog being slowly boiled in water.

Nothing is going to change until there is some type of cataclysmic event that reorients everyone’s thinking. It will be the psychological equivalent of a “life altering event”, only on a national level. Most likely a massive economic crisis (brought about by out of control spending) that forces people to realize the extent of government overreach. Obamacare might just be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

Good luck to all of us.

Our dentist of 25 years retired and sold his practice. The new dentist is a big hunter and fisherman...in the heart of Silicon Valley, no less! Cool.

Doctors are not employees of the Executive Branch of the government. Executive orders can affect ONLY that branch of government. Only Congress can make laws. We The People need only to ignore this. Actually, Obama should be impeached for tyring to make laws.

My GP sold his practice years before he would have retired. He made it clear he didn’t want to mess with Obamacare or be taking orders from the government. This was a bit of a hassle for me as I had to find a new doc, but totally sympathized with his decision. I would have done the same thing.
