There is one juror not married. The other is the black/spanish lady; she is married and a nurse or works at a nursing home. New transplant from Chicago which could be worrisome BUT....lots of evidence seems to be she doesn’t like the prosecution. Won’t make eye contact, etc.

He can’t go to Alaska, or Montana or Texas... While this might keeps the Bro’s away, it is within the reach of the FedGov.

I am very dismayed already. He NEVER should have been brought to trial. The charges are a travesty. The initial reason to NOT charge him was still the most valid as a clear cut case of self defense.

The president used command influence to get a trial, with his “My son” comments. Totally unwarranted and ignorant of the facts, but he just had to knee-jerk as a racialist. This is all about politics. These politics now trump justice.

Whatever the jury decides, and I don’t expect a Not Guilty, will be the final bit of political theater of this case, which trumps justice completely.

Welcome to the new America, Comrade.

No, Uncle Chip said he wasn’t going to do one.

So let’s use this one..

I know people are wound up and either going to be absolutely devastated or elated.

I think it comes in today. Which means it won’t be a Hung Jury.

Which means it must be acquittal to come so fast...TOTAL BIASED HOPEFUL SPECULATION BASED ON NOTHING

No, we are not doomed. White people need to stop being pansies. That's the REAL problem.

Black mobs can now dictate to law enforcement what a crime and when to go after people.

"But but but but law enforcement"

So what. If I defend myself, I'll defend myself, and then get out of dodge. If the law fails to protect equally, I'll go around it.

Then on what grounds did the family receive that huge settlement prior to the trial? Wouldn’t a claim of self-defense preclude any pre- or post-trial settlement as the death would not have been wrongful?

“Looking at the demographics of the jurors (hadnt seen that before) he’s doomed.”

You mean because they’re women? “Demographics” considers more than gender. What are their life experiences? What are their IQs? What do they and their husbands do for a living? I’m a woman, married to a Physicist, and no twerp selling a sad whiny story would make me throw the facts out the window.

“All they have to do is remind them that Zimmerman “killed” Saint Skittles and that a mom lost her son that day and its over” Facts, logic, and reason don’t hold the same weight as emotion with most women.”

You're wrong of course, but let's say you are right. All the women except one are white. Perhaps their “emotion” is saying, “I don't trust blacks these days and I wouldn't want a black man in a hoodie around my house - I don't blame Zim from protecting himself against this black man.”

Back in the dark ages (25 years ago) I tried a car collision case where a 26 week, pregnant mom lost her first child. The “luck” of the draw was that I got a jury of 12 females, assorted ages. So, take my thoughts with a grain of salt.

I found that despite the many concerns I had with an all female jury, my concerns were unfounded. I found them to be diligent, careful, thoughtful. AND most importantly determined to follow the law. At least that is what my post trial interview of jurors revealed.

That worked out for my client. I hope it works well for GZ.

P.S. I found no indecision once a decision was made. But their caution (sleeping on a decision overnight) was prompted by not wanting to be weary when a final decision was announced.

It was a settlement based on potential costs of a trial. It implied no guilt on anyone’s part.

> He will always have to be on guard. I’d move to another country.
With all due respect, all the thugs can go straight to hell. Zimmerman was born in Virginia. He is an American. Americans don’t turn tail and run. Let the thugs move to another country. ( Oh wait, they already tried that once...Liberia...epic fail). If Zimmerman is found innocent and leaves the country we may as well all leave. The thugs will still have won.

End of rant

While that sounds like the brave, courageous, and patriotic thing to do, I have stared down the barrel of a gun pointed at me on more than one occasion and there is a time to run and a time to gun. One on one, gun, but with so many black thugs out there wanting to make their mark, I say run in this case amd live to see another day. In general, I agree with what you say though but I am just commenting on this one particular case.

Can the jury acquit “with prejudice”?

I’d love to see the foreman give “both-barrels” to the Judge and Prosecution for bringing this to trial.

If I were foreman, I would flirt with “contempt” on this one and let the judge and State know what political hacks they are.

Maybe the HOA settlement has a claw-back provision if Zimmerman is found Not Guilty.

Which - if true - would be hilarious.

"Jury entering now...Chris Farley asking questions. Hopefully they have already decided or are oh so close to resolving this"

They may have reached a decision -- on coffee and breakfast....
