The de-evolution of Egypt was a done deal with the ouster of Mubarak.

Sharia law is basically fascism behind a cloak of religion. It only benefits the Imams and their immediate followers.

The Antonym of the word 'Democracy' is 'Submission'(Islam)
The two words are mutually exclusive of each other

"Political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable,
and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind. " -- George Orwell, May 1945

"We are all capable of believing things which we know to be untrue. ...
The only check on it is that sooner or later a false belief bumps up against solid reality,
usually on a battlefield." -- George Orwell, March 22, 1946

The article goes on to state that with regard to the Sharia Law clause:

"... that this article was taken verbatim from the constitution the army suspended last Wednesday, and that it was one of its most controversial articles, as liberal contended that it could open the door to radical interpretations of Sharia."

This is the great mystery to we non-Egyptians. The Egyptian people appear to support Sharia Law, at least that's what the polls show. And they just threw out a very big Pro-Sharia-Law President presumably because his policies are causing great economic hardship.

Hello people of Egypt. Are you awake or actually just dreaming? Don't you see the connection between the 7th century economic conditions most of you live in with the 7th century philosophy embedded in Sharia Law? If not, you are doomed and you deserve your fate. It is well past time for you to wake up and smell the coffee.
