As bogus and offensive as those names might be, I still haven’t seen them, and maybe I’m lucky not to have.

If they were smart, they would try to let the public forget their employee’s incompetence.

distraction from the plain fact that their pilots don’t know the basics of landing an aircraft

Sounds more important than the 911 calls pleading for help after 20 minutes on the tarmac after the crash or what the hell were the flight crew doing while this was going on, texting? playing games on thier phones? More importantly here, is that we are sensitive to the diverse atmosphere in this country. Sorry I just spit up in my mouth

Exactly how are they going to prove this hoax cost them anything compared to the image of that plane in pieces?

Legal action? For what??? Some ditz getting pranked on-air?

If it was an American Airlines flight that crashed in S. Korea like that, and some reporter on Korean TV said the pilots were named Jack Meoff and Eyepee Freely, we would have just laughed and passed the video around for a week.

It’s just lawyers trying to make some $’s of the modern grievance culture die what is little more than juvenile humor and pranking.

How in the world are we, as humans with brains, expected NOT to react to that? Others who said it are right--just P.C. stuff.

With her face, it must have been hard to keep from crying every time she looked into the mirror. As is the case with liberal women, the evil and ugliness on the inside manifests itself on the outside.

I do not think that the joke was funny in view of the accident and also it's one of those "tired" (hackneyed) jokes.

It did remind me of Wang Wei People's Republic of China air force pilot who was killed in the Hainan Island incident; that happened early in the Bush Administration when Wang Wei buzzed a U.S. Navy four-engine plane the wrong way -- a little too closely, clipped a wing and crashed.

There was a wedding announcement decades ago in the San Francisco Chronicle where the two last names combined for a relatively obscene reference.

While the prank was in poor taste, the bulk of the scrutiny should be directed at the Korean pilot, Goh Rong Wei, who obviously dropped the ball, big time.

Of the left? Yes way left.

For a quick review of unpleasant check out H. Clinton at any age.

Also note the people in the back of the photos, not the paid coat holders. With Eleanor they mostly look relaxed, Hillary, not so much.

Be glad the left does not have an Eleanor today, she was good. Very good!

Folks.....it wasn’t just the funny names that caused the laughter (which is usually good). It was the SERIOUSNESS of the reporter who read the story and names, never realizing what she was saying. Sorry, after such a sad accident, a little levity is sometimes refreshing.
