Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Sunday urged the Justice Department to review federal charges against George Zimmerman who was acquitted in Sanford, Fla., of murder and manslaughter in the shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin.
“I think the Justice Department is going to take a look at this. This isn’t over with and I think that’s good. That’s our system, it’s gotten better, not worse,” Reid said on NBC’s “Meet the Press”.

Let them keep pushing on this. The only reason they won’t let this end is because they want more people to die due to racial animus whipped up about it.
Little bit of felony activity, a politician getting involved with and trying to influence a criminal or civil lawsuit. Dingy Harry is a crook and should be in prison.

Someone needs to ask creeps like Reed to name a specific federal statute that Zimmerman could have possibly violated?
If they can’t name one, then shut the heck up.
It would be interesting to know how much mob money Harry has transferred to offshore bank accounts since he became senator.

Reid will do what he can to keep this fiasco stirred up. It distracts America from the corruption of the Obama cult, and the incompetence of Congress.

Sounds like a huge problem with undue influence. Zim’s lawyers are surely gathering ammunition for the expected onslaught of crucifixion attempts by civil suit, and Reid’s stupid remarks will add to that arsenal.

Isn’t this getting pretty close to “double jeopardy”? George Zimmerman has been tried in a court of law, found to be “not guilty”, and discharged from custody of the court.
What ever happened to respecting the authority of a legally constituted judge and jury, once they have pronounced their verdict? Unless there is some basis for taking the outcome to an appeal, the findings of the court are binding. There would have to be a LOT of evidence, of very damning nature, to reopen the prosecution of George Zimmerman.
Persecution, of course, is an entirely different matter.
Just as an aside, former Governor of New Mexico, Bill Richardson, is about as “white” as George Zimmerman. Yet I had never heard the term “white Hispanic” applied to Gov. Richardson.
Harry Reid had better be a little careful where he goes with this.
I hope it’s not over with. I want to see Zimmerman sue the pants off everyone that lied, ignored the law to try and get him convicted! Including the media.
