The Federal government is going to use sleight of hand, to keep our attention focussed on riots and demonstrations like the ones in Oakland, San Francisco and elsewhere, to try and give Boehner and Cantor breathing room to force amnesty for illegal aliens down our throats. Reading the article, and the comments: the facts don’t count, the anti-Zimmerman posters just make up their own.
The law doesn’t count; the anti-Zimmerman posters have no idea what the law is, and considering that many posters (who were not either pro-or-anti-Z) tried to explain the law of self defense, the anti-Z people just reject it (the Guardian is a British publication, after all). All that is left to inform their opinions is hate and anti-Americanism.

I have been saying for weeks that a can of anything that weighs 20 oz is a weapon.
I am tired of hearing that Trayvon was unarmed!!!
The same kind of crap is said when the Mexicans are throwing rocks at our Border Patrol. A rock is a weapon!!! A 20 oz can of anything is a weapon!!!
I can sit here & think of a pile of items that don’t require a license, but are a weapon. I’ll bet that a thorough survey of my kitchen & my garage could produce at least 20 different ‘weapons’.
Trayvon was an out of control wanna-be punk. He was 17 years old & had been in trouble with his behavior for 4 years or more. That is over 20% of his life and he was headed for lots more, IMO.
The evidence of his cell phone photos & activity on social networking should have been allowed in the trial.
IF anyone is dumb enough to sue GZ in a civil care, I am pretty sure that those items will have to be included.
I am so sick & tired of every trouble making punk- no matter the color-being portrayed as a saint in training by the family, I could puke. DENIAL is a serious contagious disease in the black community. These young men are influenced by ‘rap music’ full of obscene lyrics and they also admire athletes who have a morally bankrupt private life. “Baby Daddys’ proliferate. Getting an education-—learning a skill which can lead to a lifetime of employment-—being a part of the community that is NOT impacting the local justice system-—all of this is their individual choice. They keep making bad choices & then blaming all the whites.
They lack any kind of upbringing and their parents seem to be equally clueless on how to raise a child into adulthood which will be a good example of a responsible person in the neighborhood.
Too many have a ‘get Whitey’ attitude, and since it only continues to proliferate, I can only assume that their parents do nothing to reduce such feelings.
They have been reared with 5 generations of welfare and freebies—down to & including “Obamaphones’. They think the community, the city, the county, the country and all other citizens owe them a lifestyle which they have done nothing to deserve.
I am tired of hearing the constant drumbeat of how young black men cannot seem to live with whites. In Chicago, they kill their own in dramatic numbers and the media is silent. Is this the 21st century version of the mob wars?
They were given the same brain cells we all got from God. How they have decided to use such gifts has all been on them & their families. They have free schooling available to them. They get free lunches. They get tutoring help. There are a wide range of individuals, groups and organizations which spend untold millions of hours & dollars trying to bring these black youths into a productive status in this country. We get attacked in the streets for our efforts. The ‘beat down game’ is their answer!!!
When you raise a LITTER of kids who all have different daddys, the structure of family never exists. Being paid more for every birth only makes the problem worse.
I have to address the person who was supposedly speaking to Trayvon on the phone when this all happened:

At 19, a lot of my H S classmates and myself had already been working in full time jobs for 2 years.
This person should not even be in senior year at high school!!!! Most of us could “read cursive” and WRITE CURSIVE by 5th grade or earlier!!!
What possible employment could this person ever attain? Another mouth to feed for a lifetime!!! Won’t that make the taxpayers happy!!!

National ABC news is stating that ‘protests have been non-violent’.
Tell that to Oakland, where the past 2 nights have had damaging riots in downtown Oakland & scores of store windows were smashed. These business owners cannot collect any insurance on such activities. I don’t know why they even try to stay in business.
There are now places in this country where fencing off would be a blessing.
