In the United States, many protest against the acquittal of the Hispanic killer of 17-year-old black teenager Trayvon Martin. Pravda.Ru asked Deputy Director of the Institute of the USA and Canada, Valery Garbuzov, to share his views on the problem.
"In the United States, there is phenomenon called "racism in reverse." Many used to believe that racism came from the white population against black Americans. But during the 1960s, black Americans were gradually winning their political, economic and civil rights. Today they have turned into quite a powerful social force. It is no surprise that black people appear in the political elite of the United States - they have a black president in the White House. Many blacks perceive the court's ruling to acquit Zimmerman as a kind of injustice - a kind of a protest with racial overtones.
"One should bear in mind the fact that all non-white population of the U.S. has become very active during the recent years. This manifests primarily during elections, especially presidential ones. Obama's election in 2008 and the last presidential election indicate that the part of the American electorate that was traditionally called the sleeping electorate, woke up and started to express their opinions on various issues, especially those related to them personally and perceived by them as an infringement of their own identity.
"This verdict sparked a social explosion and is seen as unfair. If the victim and the killer would have changed roles or skin color, the story would have been different - this is the way it is perceived by the general public. People question the decision of the jury and claim that the jury was guided by racial prejudice. I see the reaction of black Americans to the verdict precisely proceeding from these positions.
"One should also pay attention to the members of the jury. Perhaps, they also provoke such a reaction. If most of the jury were white citizens, such a reaction from blacks was predictable. A few years ago there was a similar case, a crime of this type, and the white jury justified the white offender, which also led to a surge of discontent."
Blacks have to realize that there is a new kid on the block that already outnumbers them and have no “white guilt”. Hispanics are driving them out of the workforce, political office/patronage jobs, their old neighborhoods, and even the drug trade.
Liberal whites imported Hispanics to fix the “black problem”; they’re very effective in getting this done.
The interviewer by Barbara Walters - asking Zimmerman’s parents about his safety - well, his safety and the life he will be able to live is the FAULT of the media...it’s the fault of people like Walters that stoked the flames of racism - is why George is going to have to move and go somewhere else to live...the MEDIA IS TO BLAME for this B/S...glad I wasn’t there because my finger would have been bouncing off of Walters head lecturing her about how to be responsible when conducting journalism...no wonder everyone makes fun of these students in college — they ARE A JOKE when real life comes around....and they are getting theirs out in L.A when a news crew was just assuated...you get what you sow - news freaks!

They have become politically active. Not so much work related active.
But, the media only prints or broadcasts what the people want. So whose fault is it the media sucks when people keep buying it?
We got rid of slavery
We got rid of Jim Crow
We put Affirmative Action in place
We funnelled hundreds of billions, if not trillions, into the black community as part of the Great Society (reparations)
We push diversity training in schools and in work places, glorifying Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, and “the struggle”
And our country is consumed by the ghetto culture and rocked by blatant racism by blacks.
I don’t know what else can conceivably be done. It’s a problem. I can’t fix it. And I just don’t care any more.
Bill O’Reilly ignorantly said in his talking points last night that there was no doubt George Zimmerman profiled Trayvon Martin and started the altercation. I almost fell out of my chair when I heard him say that. I can’t believe I used to like that mental midget.
I dunno. I kinda like “assuated.” As in: “You keep effin’ wit me and you gonna get yo’ self ASSuated.”
I could see that working.
The solution is to get government out of restricting Americans right of freedom of assembly and let the marketplace sort it out.
More and more I see nothing wrong with intelligent racism. If people want to act like animals to such a degree and to such a number that “normal” people of that race are besmirched by it, then the normal people of that race need to step up and police the problem.
Black thuggery exists because “normal” black people allow it to exist. Black crime exists because the black culture accepts and enables it. Anyone living in black culture is equally as guilty.
Please note that not all blacks live in black culture. Not even all blacks in the ‘hood live in black culture. A good friend of mine grew up in Watts. His mom demanded proper behavior from him and his brother and they both turned out to be fine American citizens. No thuggery at all. She was a single mom who worked hard to give her sons a way out of the ghetto. If she can do it, anyone can do it.
Maybe once the general black society sees that we will not hire, will not serve (face it, who wants thugs overrunning their place of business?) and will not associate with them because they are raising and enabling thugs, then they will start training their kids to be more respectful, and help them assimilate into US culture.
It’s really a sad state of affairs for those blacks who are not thugs.
I don’t agree...the Media types specifically brand what information they want released and how it will be released...there was a time they had integrity...but now it’s all a 5 minute movie and how well they look doing it...I don’t watch any of them - it’s all fake...tried of seeing bleach blonds with solid white teeth trying to convince me that what they are saying should be taken seriously and they know best...most people go about their lives with the news playing in the background as white noise...only the low information voter actually listens to them because they are too lazy to go on places like F/R and read and decide for themselves...that’s my take on the situation...

These types of statements are bogus and way too many whites buy into it. As if throughout the history of man race was never an issue until the founding of the US. As if only whites ever tried to protect themselves from the ever present racial attitudes and animosity from other races. As if races have never been a proxy for nation. Marxist teach this type of BS.
The majority of Latinos/Hipanics acclimated to our culture. There's the difference.
The media may be biased in what they report, or omit, but they still have to sell their product. People are buying based on those commercials and being influenced by the reporting whether they are actively or passively listening to it.
A high % of seniors are watching CNN over and over, every 1/2 hour, with the total absence of any new content. It’s blaring out of every airport and waiting room in existence.
If people weren’t buying it, it would go away. Why do people need such noise so badly, given it’s mostly nonsensical trash? There were some recent threads on the show Glee. People are watching this stuff, or it would go away.
Overall, Americans are planted in front of their TV’s and being fed trash because that is what they want.
Everyone knows that ALL jurors decide by race only.
Henceforth, all verdicts MUST be decided by Twitter and/or whichever side makes the most egregious threats.
Oh, we need to factor in who is/could be the progeny of the President.
Plus a factor for the "elite" media and esteemed ivy-covered professors.
This is getting complicated. Anyone know calculus?

There is no “reverse” racism.
There is racism.
And when someone or some group hates another group simply because of their genetics, that’s racism.
However, criticism of a destructive, violent, and barbaric culture is NOT “racist”. It may be “culturist”, but it’s not racist.
