"most of the attacks against men are by heterosexuals...

That is by definition impossible. A heterosexual male will not sexually assault (rape) an another male.

I think you’re wrong on that regard. Look at prisons for instance. Setting aside the whole “gay for the stay” meme, same sex rape in prison isn’t about sex and I’d isnt about physical attraction (homosexual or otherwise) It’s about power, control and dominance.

While I agree it isn’t what it used to be, civilian injection is not the answer.
(in my opinion)

At one time we WERE held to HIGH moral standards. violation of those standards by any rank was grounds for court martial.

So perhaps it is a degradation of moral standards.

Nana just reporting what was said by a male victim: “most of the attacks against men are by heterosexuals...

jpsb: That is by definition impossible. A heterosexual male will not sexually assault (rape) an another male.
_______________________________________________

The main speaker on the main panel at the first summit on sexual assault in the military in DC May 2012 said that he had been raped by his boss a heterosexual man and the most rapes of men were by heterosexual men ..

the speaker/victim was a homosexual or bisexual and denied that homosexuals raped other men...

he said then that few rapes were committed by “gays”...

The emphasis of the summit was male victims although there was only the one man there...

The 200+ female victims were only there as bridesmaids and took a backseat to the “bride” of the event...

I felt that stopping sexual assault against women in the military took a giant step backwards at that summit as the man was important but what happened to women was secondary if anywhere...

"..I am expecting Obama’s military leaders to soon call for the enlistment of only feminized males to reduce the frequency of non-consensual sex.(ya think?)..." Something like this is the goal. The total destruction of the military establishment as it is (was). It may be the very thing stopping the militarized federal organizations from cracking down on us. Hitler had to get the Wehrmacht on "his side" before eliminating his "political enemies".

The majority of this nation, still supports the military.... (maybe because we have so many Gramps, dad, uncles, sons-daughters that have served)

I am not in a position to refute your research, but I will say that using examples from the Vietnam era does not add credibility to your assertions. I can only go on my personal experience. I know without a shadow of a doubt that in the Navy we took any allegation of sexual assault most seriously. Each case was investigated fully and not once was the alleged victim punished. This includes one case where the female admitted lying about the accusations.

and yet there were women from the Navy amongst the victims in DEC last year who said they were not listened too...

My money is on the victims...

Ive been involved in this for 40 years...

all services cover up sexual assaults and try to down play the numbers and make themselves out to be heroes...

a good many of those women last year served in Iraq and Afghanistan...

this is not an ancient problem...

its an ongoing problem...

and kid it is happening whether or not you want to pretend its not...

“are you mocking..”

I mock those that attempt (or are) destroying our military and our morality.

I mock Liberal PC that inflates an issue WAY beyond truth.
(whose real nature is akin to 666)

However, I do not deny that harassment does not occur.
I question the overall (general) severity of it.
(given that a “look” or even a “word” is sexual harassment now-a-days.
(physical contact is not withstanding)

I also spent several years in the military...and there was and is no protection for women from rape and molestation...

You are correct, they STILL don't issue chastity belts to females in the military.

But seriously, the military has no shortage of rules concerning sexual harassment or discrimination in the workplace -- in fact, the military is so politically correct these days that your career is at risk for mere expressions of faith, let alone blatant discrimination or sexual assault! You can't make sex-themed jokes without risking NJP and loss of rank! Thanks to Patsy Shroeder, Tailhook eviscerated the military, including MANY innocent officers that might have gone on to be admirals!

Today's military is nothing like the Vietnam era. Read the article!

This may come as a shock to you but many homosexual men are married. It’s part of their cover, especially in a masculine-heavy environment like the US military. Their wife is their ‘beard’.

If you are a man and like to put your penis in another man’s rectum, YOU’RE A HOMOSEXUAL.

Or put another way, if you don’t think putting your penis in another man’s rectum is revolting, YOU’RE A HOMOSEXUAL.

I know it happens and I am sure that it is sometimes handled improperly, but you try to paint a picture like it is open season on women in the Navy and that is just not the case. By the mere fact that you have been doing this 40 years, I am guessing that you have a built in bias towards your position. You look for any evidence to support your position and refuse to acknowledge anything that refutes it. I only state what I have experienced. It is a far more extensive experience than your few years served in another era. Yet you still attack my experiences as false like you have some higher knowledge. I can tell that your opinion is established and that you could really care less about hearing from people who actually were there. You know more than I do, so I am not worthy of listening to. Enough said.

Tailhook was not about women being victims of sex crimes in the military...

the Navy officers were attacking civilian women guests in the halls of the hotel...

unfortunately women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan who are the victims of sex crimes are treated just like the women who served in the Vietnam Era...

does this happen to all women...

No but ti does happen...

and brushing it under the ug wont make it go away...

During the eras of the good old boys military and women were not exactly welcome they had reason to hide the shame...

now during the everything is now peachykeen at last they have reason to hide the shame...

meanwhile women still lose out on some type of stable concern for their welfare...
