The survey by Democratic firm Public Policy Polling has McAuliffe at 41 percent....

Believable?

I don’t know everything about VA politics but I do know that McDonnell supported Romney and had the primary rigged, raised taxes and increased spending.

The scandal stuff comes on top of it.

Cuccinelli is bring driven down by the weight of the current RINO governor’s record.

Once Cuccinelli breaks out the Obamacare ads, McAuliffe is toast.

"most accurate" polling companies and as a "Democratic-leaning" polling company

This Wiki entry speaks volumes.

Uh oh. Dismally informed am I. But that means even lower turnout. In Virginia I suspect that’s good for the R. But who knows?

Meaningless poll now. Cuccinelli should be kicking butt except for the phony conservative who is governor now. Bob

Yeah, McAuliffe has tapped into the Clinton machine and Rat/Union fundraising network, but Cuccinelli has done virtually NOTHING to oppose him.

I know several Republican Party local chairmen in Southwest Virginia, and they are beside themselves that Cuccinelli has made NO effort to engage the region, all the while McAuliffe is doing a full court press in the local media and on the streets there.

They all want to know...WHERE IS THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN VIRGINIA????

In theory it should; this is an off off-year election. But you never know.

The Republican Party of Virginia is in internal turmoil. Their only hope of becoming strong is to let the Tea Party organizations help determine policy and direction.

What the GOPVA needs is balls and a will to fight McAulliffe the Thug, to expose his unsavory political past/tactics, and to show the people of the state that they are better off now than they were 4 years ago with the absentee Governor Tim “Galaxy Guest” Kaine (a double dipper as both governor and DNC head, illegal?).

That always frustrates me no end, too. I know via facebook and my inbox that the Cuccinelli team is highly active in northern Virginia, though. Coal country should be ours in a cakewalk.

Totally agree...
Give him time...
Have Obozo show with the weasel McAuliffe...( like Deets?)
Emphasize Obozocare, sleezy Clinton, throw in enviro-scams....
I think it may happen...
But the RoVA has blown it before......

I expect Cuccinelli to win this race quite handily, when all is said and done.

McAuliffe is sleazy, and that comes across.

VA is a purple state. The Dems will win if they can get the turnout they didn’t have in 2009. I expect a close race with the edge to the Dems. If they can get NoVA to turnout in any significant numbers, McAuliffe could win with a comfortable margin.

I wish I could agree with you, but I live in Fairfax County. If Cuccinelli can't break even in NoVA, he will lose big time.

He’s spent his entire career working NoVA. He’ll do fine.
