Feeling let down by a president they once had high expectations for, blacks, Hispanics and younger voters are starting to give up on President Obama.
Pollster John Zogby told Secrets that his latest poll found a big drop in support for the president among the three key constituencies who feel that Obama hasn't delivered the results he promised in his reelection campaign. "These three groups all have high expectations and feel a sense of ownership because of their strong support," the pollster said. "He is losing some of the strength he once enjoyed among groups that have formed the nucleus of his coalition."
Consider the results from the latest Zogby Analytics poll of 919 likely voters taken July 12-13. While Obama won 61 percent of the youth vote in 2012, only 46 percent approve of his job as president. He won with 71 percent of Hispanics and 93 percent of African Americans, but now stands at 68 percent and 84 percent respectively.
Zogby said that Hispanics are nervous about immigration reform and want the president to do more to make good on his promise to grant amnesty to 11 million illegal immigrants. "While the White House and fellow Democrats prefer the president lay back and not rev up opposition by campaigning, Hispanics want him out there," said Zogby.
For blacks, said the pollster, "they thought he would be able to do so much more."
And younger voters are feeling the pain of higher interest rates on college loans and don't like the National Security Agency spying scandal. "For young people, the failure to stop the rise of student loan rates and the NSA revelations weigh in heavily," said Zogby.
Despite the drop in support among key groups, Zogby said that the president still holds "considerable juice," and stands in the latest poll at an evenly split 49 percent approval-49 percent disapproval.

Obama fell into the trap a lot of ‘RAT politicians fall into. They promise way too many freebies and can’t deliver. It’s too expensive.
These poll number doesn’t mean anything, they’ll still support him over anyone with an R 95-5.
Well THERE would be a constructive use of the George Zimmerman case: To pry Hispanics away from the Democrats.
1.) Either his racism is exposed by a DOJ prosecution
2.) or his “street cred” takes a hit due to him “caving” on Trayvon?
It seems like we see these ‘blacks, Hispanics, and young people are abandoning the Democrat party’ articles fairly regularly. Alas, when it comes time to vote, Hispanics, young people, and especially blacks still overwhelningly vote Democrat. Call me when they actually vote against the Democrats because until then I won’t believe it.
For blacks, said the pollster, “they thought he would be able to do so much more.”
But will they vote for the next Soros Sock Puppet in 2016?

Obama is moving into the same league as Stalin and Hitler and if he’s not stopped, he will be their equal. IMO

Every president since Reagan has been a puppet. Just yesterday a puppet to the New world Order named GHW Bush was kissing up to the latest puppet in the White House.

If the Democrats believe they are losing black votes then I would expect them to get serious about promoting riots and race war. That may not be so successful now as it has been in the past as witness the wet firecrackers that were supposed to be blockbuster bombs in the big cities after the Zimmerman acquittal.
They may “support” him just as volubly but what is in prospect is that many will have more important things to do on voting day. I don’t believe it because the coercion to vote will be powerful and if they are registered to vote their votes will be counted whether or not they actually show up at the polls.
Like you, I yawn when I read these articles, because we all know when its time to vote again - they will all jump on the gravy train once again. Most of them only vote every 4 years for the president, so hopefully, we can take back the Senate in 2014. For most, they think that a president has all the power to do anything he wants. Its almost true with the current occupant of the WH - most want a dictator with total power and he comes as close to that as any president we’ve ever had.
Blame the schools on their lack of education in political science. They know how to put on condoms, have sex, make babies and have abortions, but are totally ignorant how our government works.

I expect that the DOJ is trying very hard to figure out how to eo a Civil Rights Charge but if they figure out that even a black federal jury with the required number of Spanish and black members will acquit then they will make a lot of noise and IRS will put him under permanent audit and DEA might raid his house or his parents’ house but they won’t double jeopardize him.
