LAPD says man fatally shot after approaching officers with gun

A man was fatally shot by Los Angeles police on Tuesday night after he approached officers with a gun, a police spokesperson said.

Plainclothes officers were driving down the 1700 block of Pico Boulevard about 9 p.m. when they were approached by a man with a gun, public information officer Rosario Herrera said.

Silly—it was a hate crime based on racial bias./s The feds will open up a tip line looking for dirt on these officers now.

Sounds like the LAPD used Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law. I didn’t think that was legal in California.

Another statistic for Holder and the DoJ to demagogue.

Yeah. The story is terribly lacking in detail. Were any word exchanged? Did he threaten the officers with the gun? WHAT HAPPENED??
